We caught up with Troy Van Leeuwen of the mighty Queens Of The Stone Age and were treated to a quick tour of his 2018 live pedalboard. Check it out! Learn more about Troy here: www.tcelectron...
Disclaimer on the camera work: We had to film in one take, just one take, they wouldn’t let us film the rest of the gear and we wholeheartedly respect their decisions to keep their craft as personal as they want. If you watch closely our cameraman was actually doing the talking, their crew handled the camera and filmed however they pleased, it was fun to see them have a laugh at it. Again: Their crew confiscated our cam and filmed as they wanted, we are grateful enough to have been there and get troy to show us his custom setup.
Hey, Just getting to have one of the most versatile and multi talented musicians out there give you even a taste of his equipment “stew” is fantastic! It’s a great glimpse into how they do what they do.
Another Awesome artist, TVL! He plays Incredible, got the freaking groove, heart & soul .. & not only dresses sharp, he busts out w the moves when on stage! They're so damn fun to watch, & tight AF!!🤘🔥✌🖤💙 edit: Thank you for sharing. I come from a (min. of) 3 generations of guitarists, tho my main focus is singing (to clarify: 'in the closet', due to Crippling Performance Anxiety my entire life & other issues.. Anyway, I actually edited to ask a ques., I'm unable to tell.. Is Mr Van Leeuwen's Jazzmaster a 12-string? Would you please forgive my ignorance? Thank you, kindly, @TC Electronic.
A wet/dry amp setup is where have two amps and you run your guitar effects through one of them only ("wet"), with the other receiving a non-effected guitar signal, i.e "dry" 🙂
