Awesome video man! Love Canadian freight operations. On the list of things to see and film for future videos for me. The states are also on the cards. Have to do Europe as well. So many places I wish to visit in the future. Your freight trains in the states and Canada are bloody massive! Can’t wait to see them at some point. The manifest trains are of most interest to me. Such a mixture of wagons on those trains. I mean love the other trains too but you rarely get to see a variety/mixture of freight cars like that on the trains in Australia. Makes for interesting railway modelling operations I must say. You’re more than welcome to check out my channel if you wish. Lots of Aussie freight trains from mostly South Australia where I live. I do have other videos as well which can be found my playlists. Enjoy! Thanks for sharing with us and I look forward to your other videos. Cheers Caleb

You should railfan BNSF's Aurora Subdivision.

SD70Ms are the worst locomotives to work on. Especially UP's. Down here in Houston, we are usually happy anytime it's a CN motor leading.

They look weird too, especially those with top-mounted centre lights (as opposed to the nose-mounted). The newer SD70ACe's have a far better appearance.

How do you find a bridge with so little traffic to film off of, good stuff. Love the deer to XD
@ThornappleRiverRailSeries
@ThornappleRiverRailSeries 4 года назад
It's a dirt road, and one of those ancient timber-pile bridges, that's why! Kinda out in the boonies. We'll see, I may end up heading out there to hide at some point for a day during this virus crap

That bridge is haunted. I've been there many times before and have seen and heard some very weird things.

Thornapple River Rail Series That would be cool. UP 844 and UP 3985 have trekked through the Feather River Canyon. Their first time was when they traveled to Sacramento for Railfair ‘91. UP 3985’s second time was when it was on its way to and from the 1992 NRHS convention. UP 844 has trekked the canyon a few times since then. I have a feeling that the rails are strong enough to hold the weight of UP 4014.
