The 70's-era Joe Walsh/Zeppelin tone sold me on this the moment I heard it. What a beautiful tone. So creamy yet so crunchy. These reviews rock. Thanks for all the info in the description, too.
I have this pedal and it sounds amazing!! This demo goes it Justice. Probably my favorite pedal because it does so much so well, that Tweedish sound and that overdrive/fuzz thing.. so touch sensitive and dynamic.
For pure fuzz, I like this too! That EHX Violet pedal will be my new distortion pedal, but this is a sweet fuzz pedal. Sounds really good with those Mojotone *humbuckers* in your SG!
Yeah I just picked up the 18V version and really couldn't be happier All I expected and more Master volume on the side how cool and perfect is that Now for a match up of fuzz and I'm set I've got an Xotic Clean drive for that nice boost that doesn't alter the tone so might not even need the fuzz Good stuff TD and GMD ☺️
God damnit, GMD,- if you're gonna use an SG with a fuzz, AT LEAST use one of the (good) P90 versions. This might be my fav pedal ever..and IT IS handsome and winsome as all get out-
Destroyer...wow. Great early ZZtop to 70's Alice Cooper to Stoogies. Then harmonic Jeff Beck there...funky professor. Does Zep too. Is it Supro Black magic like? Definitely has tone machine. I'd def leppard like to hear it with single coils. Orange Sabbathy goodness. Just got paid huh? "I'm watching you mister"- Stewie. Brian from Detroit. The most gothic city evah. Ps. Destroyer...great pedal. Thanks for CC. I am metal deaf.
