I'm baffled by how these guys seem to avoid using a bench at all cost. I mean why crouch down in the dirt all the time?? I guess it's the same reason they work on dump trucks in flip flops and dresses.
i might be wrong but im sure i read that doing work that way its better for your back and general health overall , they do the same when eating its this way in a lot of asian countries
Nice job on cleaning the weld area when he spot welded the plate to the frame (NOT). I wonder how much trouble they had getting those nuts on the spring shackles which wasn't shown after beating the crap out of them to get them off! TORQUE WRENCHES WE DON"T NEED NO STINKIN TORQUE WRENCHES
Yes I was wondering some of the same things…. I am left scratching my head how they take the time plate the frame and not fully weld their patch in.. and i couldn’t believe that where we would use locking bolts or picture along with proper torque applied to spring u bolt hardware they apply grease to threads and hand tighten nuts… this is just unbelievable!
сколько усилий было затраченно и всё зря она завтра же опять лопнет рядом со швом и этот листик жестянки не выдержит внутри надо было швеллер в раму пихать там же полку варить тогда бы усилие взял на себя новый швеллер а так это бред усилия всё равно ляжет на раму и болтики эти с мизинец вытянит и будет этот лист по верх болтаться изображать эмитацию ремонта индусы плохо разбираются в технике Пакистан лучше делает
у них в стране дизельные грузовики могут ездить максимум 10лет, этому грузовику осталось 6 месяцев до пенсии, хозяин не стал заморачивать и тратить деньги и попросил сделать временную заплатку на скорую руку, чтобы старик грузовик доходил свой век
hahahaha I can not believe you guy done a sloppy job like that on that truck! A 6 year old kid could weld better then that old fart did!! That is one of the worst welding job i have EVER seen in my life!!!
Actually in our country diesel vehicle cars or trucks only can run on road 10 years and petrol vehicle 15 years this government order and this truck has 6 months left, so the truck owner didn't spend much money on this he said just do temporary!
The pecking method of spot welding long runs of weld drives me nuts. Absolutely no penetration into the parent metal, and guaranteed to be full of slag inclusions. Just piling bird shit onto a crack is all. Ain't gonna last.
not once did any welding get done on the inside of the frame.only on the visible outside. so its stilll likely to crack again due to loading. thats not a repair. merely a time delay to next failure.
Part of the problem is they are driving over roads with 6-inch potholes with springs that only have 1.5 inches of travel. The rest of the jolt goes straight into the frame and flexes it unmercifully. In addition most new frames have been heat-treated. Welding onto them anneals the frame material and then it's much more likely to fatigue and fail again. And their patch is only superficially welded and on only one side of the frame rail. A perfect recipe for future disaster unless the truck is placarded "HALF of RATED LOAD ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM". But that's not going be obeyed. Poor folks, it's hard to work your way out of a poverty well. First rule, stop digging!
Well I know absolutely nothing about welding except one thing you don’t weld on rushed and dirt and crap. Good Lord the things they get away with over there. And you’re right they have never seen a workbench in their lives. Crazy people

you're being nice that crack should have been ground into a V shape and filled properly his welds were to cold and looked like popcorn and there wasn't enough penetration I'd say 40% if that
DEFINITE A VERY POOR AND LOW GRADE REPAIR BESIDES LOUSY SAFETY WORK, NO COLORED GLASSES WHEN CUTTING WITH TORCHES, THEY NEVER SUPPORTED THE HORIZONTAL PORTIONS OF THAT CHANNEL [ON THE TOP OR THE BOTTOM] THAT WAS CRACKED, NEED ONE SAY ANYMORE ONLY HALF A REPAIR FOR THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND QULITY AND SAFETY THAT CHANNEL WILL WORK HORIZONTALLY AND THAT WILL SEND ANOTHER CRACK DOWN THE NEW PIECE OF METAL THEY PUT IN PLACE, UNFORTUNATELY THOSE WHO COMMENTED, THINK THIS WAS A GOOD REPAIR, NOT SO, SINCE THEY HAVE NO CLUE AS WHAT IS STRUCTURALLY SOUND,
Here's how i see it. Even if ypu can remove these guys from their working conditions and provide them with 1st world conditions and work practises it woupd onpy last a short while. They would soon revert back to quick fixes and short term obejectives. Nope let them stay exactly where they are
I appreciate their efforts but quality of work us really poor, as I sm from unfussy but I would appreciate the Pakistani truck repair job ..they are more capable
