Let me tell you quick story about my lorry driving experience back in the 80s. I come from Cornwall. I had a delivery in St Ives, Cornwall. I met an artic driver looking at his maps (paper, long before Googlemaps) looking very confused. I stopped to see if I could help. He showed me his invoice and spotted straight away it was St Ives in Cambridge he wanted. He had driven all the way from his home depot which was only an hour from his drop in St Ives Cambridge. He didn't see the funny side at all.

Hi Jemma, how are you our beautiful lovely Queen of the road? Another excellent video, I've just watched it with a tea in my red Jem mug - perfect start to the weekend! It's great you drove around Leicester - I live there! And at certain points along that ring road, you would have gone past near where I work and close to where my house is! As my favourite trucker, it's an honour :) And I regularly drive up the M1 to J24 & go along the A50 towards Stoke on my way up to Manchester (my hometown) for weekend's, so it will be amazing to drive in your wheel tracks - so to speak. That's cool you visited the new truck wash, seems like a nice place. Have a brill weekend and a safe week ahead.

HI Jemma Another great video , you go north last week and I went south to Somerset on holiday with the wife hoping to see you and the truck. One thing I did do was to drive one of your jobs (on a earlier video) you did around Blue Anchor Bay ( I was photoing the steam trains) driving along the narrow country lanes in a car is not easy at times but when you do it in the truck how you do it I do wonder, you must hoping nothing comes the other way. It must be so frustrating having to wait around so long between tips . Have a lovely weekend. safe trucking.

Hi gemma i admire how you make the grain job look so easy,i could never get my head round it to be fair,i couldn't understand how they could reject a load of grain if they found any amount of lets say limestone dust in it,but on some of these grids i have tipped on over the years there is dead rats,mice and birds that have been squashed under the load and its going into the food chain 😂😂 baffled me completely 😮 15:53

Wow you get about. Worcester is where I was dragged and went to St. Ives on holiday only a few weeks ago. Was a long drive from Scotland where I live now. I've good news, I finally passed my Class 2 recently and start tramping on Transporters Monday. The hard part will be away from home 4 nights per week. I'm sure Ryan will tip you when get home 😂😉

In the US I think most everyone pays at the pump. I’m lucky that I can fuel at one of our service centers… no line! My truck is need of a bath but I’m in Florida and I’m headed to Dallas so I’m going to wait. I know if I wash here it’ll get rained on. I hate that!

The weather wasn't the nicest in the morning, but later it became better. This was an easy day, although the early finish wasn't ideal. The truck wash was a pleasant surprise, I'm sure you were happy you could clean up your lovely Scania. Great vlog again Jemma, I really enjoy your adventures around England. We can learn a lot of things from your videos thanks to your awesome narration.

Hi Jemma , just a quick question for you , on the Scania , can you set the cruise control to ,lets say 55 and it will hold it even going down hill? I mainly drive Volvo FM and you can set it to what ever and it will not roll away. Yours looks exactly the same interior ( dash board ) as the one i drive now and then. Thanks . The two St Ives on different sides of the country must be a nightmare for those that don't know. It could be worse, I 'spose - Washington in the US. I wonder what the most epic right name, wrong place, fail is. I was intrigued so looked up the orgins of the name and they're both named as a result of religious chicanery - Cambridgeshire - the village of Slepe was renamed to attract pilgrims after St Ivo, supposedly a Persian bishop, who had come to Slepe as a missionary, died. Cornwall - St Ives takes its name from St Ia, the daughter of an Irish chieftain, who is said to have sailed to Cornwall in the mid 5th Century on a leaf, having missed the boat carrying other saints. Its Cornish name is Porthia (“Ia’s cove”) and its pre-Christian name is believed to be Pendennis (“headland fort”).

Lovely enjoy your video's, but I do have a problem understanding lorry drivers obsessions with washing their trucks.
