Follow me on an early start Monday where I’m preloaded for Essex before heading up north for a load on feed As per usual when you think you have an easy stress free day you will always come across problems
Got a bone to pick with you beautiful! Found your channel a couple of weeks ago, and now I'm hooked!!!! Getting no jobs done here, binge watching 😅 Love your style, it make me feel like I'm doing the journey with you. Keep on doing what you're doing. Xxx
Yes, it's really good and how she lists all the roads like we're also going along for the ride. Funny enough even as a farmer that would have a number of trucks in through the year doing the same like Jemma, I've still learned a lot from her 👍
Hi Jemma 👋 I'm a Plymouth Bus Driver and have seen you and The Flying Dutchman lots of times along the Embankment and poodling around the Marsh Mills area but I never realised you also had your own brilliant RU-vid channel👏 ....... Thank you for the interesting insight and entertainment into life as a 'local trucker' - I just love it!....... Keep up the good work, keep the vids coming and just be safe out there 👍
Hi Janette - and thank you for your kind reply. I'm a Plymouth boy 'born and bred' and I used to live at Oreston whilst serving in the Royal Navy. I've also visited Bovisands many times as it's very local 👍...... With your surname Janette, I'm assuming you must be a very proud family member to the multi-talented Jemma 👏👏👏

Hi, jemmas gran was one of 3 sisters. Their family name was bougous. One of the sisters married a brown, and they both lived in oreston until they sadly past. Yes I am jemmas mum . Take care
@@janettewarren3062 Hi Janette - and thanks again for replying to me. 'Bougous' is certainly a distinctive family name and not one I have ever come across - sounds a bit French or Spanish to me?? So was one of the '3 sisters' Jemma's paternal or maternal grandmothers? Have a great safe Easter weekend Mrs Warren and don't go eating too much chocolate 🤭
I haulier a know fitted a 150 water litre tank on the inside of his new Fruehauf bulker, he piped air into the water tank, fitted a Karcher hose reel on the outside of the chassis and uses it to wash the inside of the trailer out or wash lights, windows, mirrors etc, great job and no massive expense
It's always the people at the sharp end that have to sort things out and deal with the cock-ups. Great job, great driving. The house is coming along too.
I was impressed. People think long distance driving easy. Delivery from A to B. Woman, blonde, pushover. I don’t mean that in a derogatory way. What they don’t realise is as you as the driver you have to sort out the problems. Thanks for showing this because everyone thinks the job can be super easy but as you have shown if you have 2 like minded people you can sort out your problems. Send my regards to your mum hope she is well.
Hi Jemma, Another great video as always 👍 I had a lorry in picking up barley the other day and we were discussing the job, he's got it easy as it's generally local stuff and goes home at night. I've concluded I don't honestly know how they get folks to do your job, getting up at 2.30 am to go and live in a lorry for a week. I guess you folks are definitely a bit special. Happy trucking 😊
Welcome to my part of the world Jem, luckily you didn't have to go up the A12 to Colchester, because there was more roadworks and another contraflow. Looks like you were at the pit off of Essex Regiment Way in Chelmsford beings you were near the A131. That guy up north sounded like a sergeant major 😂😂😂
It's great the guys at the first location were flexible and you could work out a solution for the extra load. You are right that it's not your fault that there were 8 tonnes more load on the trailer. Mistakes can happen, fortunately everything went well at the end. Hopefully you could recover a bit of time next day and the slight delay didn't ruin your whole week. High quality vlog as always Jemma. It's fantastic we can see what is going in the transport industry thanks to your great videos.
Another great video Jemma with a J. I had a dream the other day that I met you. In my dream I was going to my nans house and you lived next door. You were put all your things in your lorry ready for the week of work. I don’t know how you got your lorry in the garden because you couldn’t fit a car in😂😂
Loved the video as usual. I don't know how you manage it working all week, then go home and work all weekend. Stay safe, and I can't wait for the next one.
Glad to see you remembered the knife this week.🤣🤣 Not a bad day despite the slight hiccough with the weight of the load, always nice dealing with someone who is reasonable. Are there no ends to your talents, truck driver, gymnast, builder, chef and singer as well.😂😂 Thanks again for a really interesting video, enjoy your tea. Sweet dreams.😴😴
A good day's worth of driving there, Jemma. Good to see that common sense prevailed in the end, and they let you tip the full load there. The roast dinner sounded an looked lovely. Hope the wash was fixed and you managed to get your truck cleaned at the end of your week. Keep up the great vlogs.
Hi Jemma, I don't live anywhere near your part of the world but I enjoy watching your videos, a really fascinating insight into life on the road driving a lorry and I like to see the places you drive through that I've either been to myself years ago or fancy visiting in the future. I know you travel all over the country but I was amazed to see that you not only came to Essex in this video, but my home city of Chelmsford !! From what I could tell it looks like you were on the other side from where I live, but Iknow the route you took out to your next stop very well as it is the way I always take from home to head north for trips out. Next time pop round for a cup of tea - you'll probably block three of my neighbours drives with your lorry but they are all quite friendly !!! Neil
Love your videos, as a Dutchman I used to live in Plymouth and Bristol and I recognize a lot of the roads you use, brings back some great memories, thanks!!
Thank you for another entertaining and interesting video, Gemma! I saw you on the A30 going from Honiton to Exeter the other day! I was in a white Enterprise van and I hooted and waved when I passed you! Keep the great videos coming! 😊
I really love your accent, I could listen to you for hours. If you ever need to change jobs, i reckon you would be excellent at doing audio books & voice overs.
Jemma you work so hard and driving takes it out on you massively so you need your rest! Then for tea you had a roast you cooked the day before I must ask do you not get any time to yourself? Unbelievable but brilliant video Thanks for sharing and take care Terry
Hi Jemz💎. The M25, the worlds biggest car park 😆. If I knew you were around Chelmsford I would have brought you a full English breakfast and a steaming hot cup of rosey. Another lovely vlog and as usual a great start to the weekend. Take care, stay safe and safe driving. ❤
Hi Jemma another amazing video , but what a lot of empty miles to load on this one , ha ho it is how the job goes @ times , Sunday roast looked absolutely awesome , we are having Rost Beef & the full works tomorrow after I get home from working on the market & then I will be heading north from MK to Penrith & back Sunday evening xxxx
Hello new subscriber to your channel am a retired disabled garbage man living in northern California. Thank you for your awesome videos. Thank you for your hard work. I absolutely love the UK I love the truckers in the UK driving the lorries on the motorways. Thank you for all your hard work I’m a subscriber for life, peace and God bless🙏🇺🇸💯💙🦺
The first load was a bit of a faff all round wasn’t it; you are always so thorough and professional but I think you might have a few choice words off camera occasionally 😂. Glad you are getting your house sorted slowly but surely ❤.
Hello Jemma, I am pleased to say I have not needed to visit sth mimms for a long time. The extra 8 tons of material which you stopped off in Essex can surely be put to good use... filling some of our potholes!
It's amazing how much we miss her videos 😢 Sad thing is as a farmer I've seen hundreds of lorries over the years and a few female drivers, so it ain't nothing unusual but I do love Jemma's personality and her explanations ❤
Hi Jemma! Good to see you guys are making good progress with the house. I love watching your videos they’re always interesting and informative. I also love that you've highlighted the issue we have with banks-men stopping you mid manoeuvre due to lack of understanding the truck… pet peeve of mine. It was a bit nostalgic seeing the A303 too, my mum used to live near Stonehenge. Thanks for all of your content! I find it very relatable and at times learn little golden nuggets too. P.S it was me beeping you today on the A14 near Brampton Hut services fly over… I always see your trucks but it’s never you!!
Love watching your vids as there very genuine. I love porridge in the morning and I like bananas but didn’t think you can have them together and heated up . Great work & vids , I’m doing euro & Irish work , hats of doing uk work all week
Your videos are fascinating Jemma and I love how you present your videos, concise and very informative. How on earth do you find the time to run a house and renovate it? Amazing 😊👍
HI Jemma Nice to see your house is coming on well. I know it is a hard slog as I have done my house up it took a long time . Strange you were over weight didn't they ask for what weight they wanted not a full load . You have in the past had small loads . Safe trunking
