WOW! Did not expect the video to end on that note! Will definitely miss the trips, Moe, and the music. Thank God we've got plenty of the old trips to watch over again. Thanks for entertaining us Ned. Larry
Do love driving in the summer windows down or aircon on going down the road having a nice cool breeze on your face. One thing I hate is unloading in summer pulling the curtains pushing the roof. There are ups and downs to being a truck driver. Brilliant job ned keep up the good work.
All the best Ned I have been watching your videos for a while now and have some what inspired me to do my HGV test, I passed it 3 weeks ago 😄 thanks for all your great videos they are a good watch. Enjoy some family time 👍👍
Many thanks Ned and moe me and my daughter loves watching your videos had lots of laughs watching you and moe having fun and doing a great job. Fingers crossed you come back soon. Once again many thanks.
Thanks for your great videos I have enjoyed them over the year's I have been off the road for 10 years through illness but I have been brought up on the road all my life my old man was a driver last European job was murffits I will be starting back this week but watching people like yourself has really helped me through a rough time thanks buddy and stay safe
Hi Ned and Moe, thank you for sharing your trips with us. Nice to see you in my area southern spain. I've been running Spain to UK for over 10 years and I have to totally agree with you. Its totally changed in my time. Nothing but hassle and being away from family all the time, it wears you out. Stay safe and good luck for the future
Great video Ned.. keep them coming just like this. I am on the road to truck driving and have been watching your videos to get a better insight into the job itself. More like this one need!
Really Sad to see you go ned but it’s has been wonderful watching all your videos over the year I’ve followed you on here and Facebook, you’ve given some really great advice to us new drivers and I really thank you for all that. I hope you all the best with the new direction your heading in. 😪🙋🏻♂️

I gave up in 2010, I work in an office now and don't miss any of it, I was on the continent for 24 years, and saw it going further down hill every year. It was nice to have found your video's, they jog some memories, but also remind my why I gave up on it.
Well said ned, your a man after my own heart, pro driver through and through,...sad to see you go but its the right thing to do if your not happy,..retirement looms for me in 10 months and I cant wait,..48 years on the road and the jobs not the same anymore, done uk and euro work,so I know what your talking about,....look after yourself, and good luck for the future,...cheers,.
Your an inspiration ned,,I like the way you go about things, and your an asset to any company you work for,....whens part 2 of your Christmas trip being posted,.?
Jeez, sad ending there. Love watching the vids Ned, perhaps you need a big break buddy and go back to it later. I can safely say you have given me and others a lot of pleasure watching your vlogs, your vast knowledge is very welcome and the interaction with mo is class. Good luck with what you do next.
Enjoyed this video compilation, as usual. Sorry to hear your thoughts at the end mate, but no surprise. Keep well and truck on steady Ned. Regards Eddie.
Brilliant videos Ned and Moe when ever I felt upset or down I would watch one of your videos and that would make me feel better. Your subscribers and I sure will miss you Ned and Moe. Remember 10 -10 until we do it again
Thank you for your time and humour in making your videos. I'm a little older than you and I'm just going to return to driving in Europe, I'm only sorry we never met. Thanks again and best of luck for the future.
I was enjoying the vlog of bits n pieces until the end, when you dropped us the big bombshell. I’ve enjoyed your trips around Europe over the years, even though I’ve only gone over the pond a few times. It was nice to see other places through your lens. I totally get your reasons and seen the changes over the years. I only hope you keep truck’in and the vlogs here. Over n out 😥
Good Golly Miss Molly! ! ! Driving in Europe on the Right Hand Side with a Right Sided Steering Truck ! ! ! That's enough to give me a Neck Cringe along with Neurological Brain Ambulism. And those Tight Backup jobs, Holy Schomnaferous ! ! ! Top it off with Taliban Garbage ! ! ! Now there is a real Truck Driver for You. (New Subscriber----Ed Contreras Cameron Park, California, USA)
Thanks Ned, I have enjoyed your videos and your commentary. I understand what you mean about the changing face of the transport industry. Good luck for the future mate and I'll keep watch for future . videos . John
Ned you nailed it at the end ? Europe's in a mess Thank God the UK is getting out of it? Every thing about Europe you said is so true overrun with Taliban. Take care .
@@toomuch9762 well said brother , but most will not understand that , they are so fkn thick and cannot understand the connection , ,,,,, but i do like Neds vids , from a truck / driving / travelling aspect , and he is prob right about the dirty selfish behavour of many people on the road nowadays
Some great clips in there Ned.... Speaking as a non Trucker I have genuinely loved watching your videos with Moe, particular the European stuff but I completely understand you reasons for knocking it on the head, I've been stuck a few times trying to get round Antwerp in the car, pretty mind breaking and I'm sure it's 100 times worse when you're stuck in a professional capacity rather than simply being there through choice on holiday. I have 2 school age kids and work long hours, I wish I had more time with them, so do right by your kids & family.. Hopefully you'll still be able to upload from time to time, your content is always a good watch...best regards & be lucky.
Good man yourself .Sorry to see you scunnered with the European work ned but the reasons you give make it quite understandable. I have enjoyed the honesty in your videos how you show the things that can go wrong .I have had many laughs when yourself mo Billy and grandad are having the Craik. Wish you all the best Ned 👍 👌
.Trucker Ned Kelly, probably one of the best video's I have seen, a good man that's had a bellyful of the shite that drivers have to put up with on a daily basis, Police, VOSA, rules and regulations, no where to park, getting threatened by stowaways, I can empathise with you mate, the jobs gone down the pan. Stay safe whatever you finish up doing.
Sad to see you go Mr Kelly of Ireland, you have inspired me to follow my dream, Trucking, now at the age of 43 I have my licence for just under a year, currently moving poultry, building experience, but this is only when the Guy needs me, it is hard to get into a company without my licence been old enough, even though I know what to do and know how to drive and all that is involved........, but I understand their fears. I plan to make my own movies trips here in South Africa, and hope to hear from you. you are going to be missed,
Thanks the reminder. Those were the days, 3 drop & swaps, with hours shunt around the plant, between swaps. covered in that black shite. Wonder if that Krone curtain sider was a converted Tilt. An even bigger shit magnet, & work up to stitch up.
Thanks Moe and NED, for great videos! My favourite is: Ireland 3 & 4; Sweden trip, for Tierney Transport: but I have the full one on RU-vid - from, Ireland 9 to 11. Good luck Moe (and that other fella)
I have watched Ned Kelly's videos for yrs and they never get old he is a professional truck driver way better truck driver then these dumb us truck drivers who do nothing but crash there trucks and do stupid stuff especially the rookie drivers I honestly can say I don't think ned Kelly has ever had an accident where he totalled his trucks or lost his cdl license do to being fired truckers need to learn from this man I would love for him to be my mentor and trainer if he was in the us and I became a trucker ned God bless you and stay safe wish I could meet you in person btw where's your doll moe ? Loved your videos with moe
Thanks a million Ned lad for making the videos......and thanks Moe for giving Ned such a hard time.....I will just go back to the start and watch them all again....take care Ned and be safe.....
Enjoyed your videos Ned , you and Mo, often made me laugh , I got out of the industry must be 6 yr ago I started when we had to use telephone boxes to make calls or pick up a message at one of the drop offs or ask to use there phone , no mobile phones no gps tracking in the cab to see where you are , you were out on the road enjoying the freedom and everyday was a adventure a new a-z map in the bag , to many rules and regulations nowadays its take take take from the drivers and everything has to be there like yesterday . Europe has taken a turn for the worst and most drivers haven't got the respect for a truck on a uk roads anyway , I could see it getting to you at the end of video that's how I use to be . Take care buddy I enjoyed your videos I watched them as you and mo was brill but it often remined me what I use to have to do and I don't miss it good luck be with you for the future what ever you decide to do. Thank you for all the great, entertaining videos
Cheers Ned have enjoyed your videos over the years, but do understand and agree your reasons for stopping. It was yours and Luke' s videos that final made me take up trucking, have enjoyed most of it so far. Good luck for the future Many thanks Paul
mate forget ireland or just europe its gotta be worldwide because ive lost my truck license in australia due to medical reasons but almost every driver i meet hates the job and cant wait to get outta the thing. you obviously have passion for the trucking life as do most old school truckers. i use to love using the C.B...keep it up brother!
Hi ned hope you are safe and well Listen to your uploads every day !!! Great views your super sharp bless you 🙏is there any money in the European work as I get a good wage doing uk work but fecks me of when I see your office window at mont blanc or Italy Milan sweden France ect sad to hear you're giving it up but please educate me ☘🙏👍👍🚛💨
Hi Christopher Unfortunately European work is paid on a daily rate whereas most Uk or domestic Irish drivers are paid by the hour. Top pay for European work is between €140/€160 per day paye. Domestic drivers with nights out can earn €170 or 150 and be home in your own bed 🛌 and have weekends off. At the moment I’m working days home every night and don’t work any weekends. It really depends on your personal situation
I had to do a trip so I just got to finish watching the video. I understand how you feel. I've been doing this for almost 30 years and I've had my fill. I don't go more than about 650 miles from Dallas. And I'm home on the weekends. It's just not fun any more. If you're going to keep trucking around Ireland, please do some more videos.
Evening Ned, hope you are well and staying safe? I’m on the iron road again and I’ve enjoyed watching some of your older ones. Take care now. Railway Ed
Good man ned, passed you a few good few times up and down the M50 over the last few weeks, didn't want to come across as a random weirdo flashing you ;)
Hello Ned was just watching your video. I agree trucking isn’t the same anymore to many rules and regulations to me it’s spoiled the whole experience. I’ve not driven for nearly 2 years due to finding out I had a heart problem and after major surgery I ain’t ever going to drive again due to ongoing problems. But in the short while I haven’t been driving it has really changed. I wish you and the wee grumpy man all the best
Excellent video Ned. I have followed you for a while as a non trucker but remember days out with my old man years ago. Its a shame the heart has been ripped out of industry. I think the eastern euro aspect is in every industry, I sort of look at the owners of these big trucking companies who employ them knowing full well they can pay them peanuts and get them to break every law just to get more profit. Just this week I was out walking where I live and there is a large fruit and veg industry on our local industrial estate. I walked by 2 Ukrainian registered trucks and this young lad was sat underneath his trailer taking a dump, just onto the middle of the road. I shouted bang quite loud which I think forced it out much quicker as he banged his head on the trailer. I did report it to the police who arrived 20 minutes later to find they had both moved leaving behind a couple of lovely mounds of shit in the road. What I think was worse is it was apparent they used old shrink wrap as toilet roll. What a way to live! Anyway keep safe and thanks for the entertainment with yourself and Mo. Glad you didn't commercialise yourself as some of the other bloggers have.
I'm going to watch you even if you are going to make videos only from Ireland, it's a very beautiful country and I think others will want to see it too . Take care !
SEEING EUROPE out your truck window reminds me how beautiful it is here in America. No wonder everybody and their brother is trying to come over here. It's butt ugly over there. Love your videos and all that bickering with your roadie on the dashboard. Read Psalm 19 every morning before daylight (It takes a minute or so) and within three weeks your entire life will be on track and everything will start falling in place for you. God Bless You Ned.
Spot on Ned. It's hardship now days and your right nobody looks out for the fellow truck driver no more. I love getting out of my truck and chatting to other drivers( meet ya once or twice on the road )some great stories of the road and characters behind the wheel. It's a verbal education listing to them. The crac is long gone from it which is a pity. I can understand your frustration of it all. Best of luck kido. I'll see ya again on the road soon.
Bless you Ned.... great Video's and you tell it how it is with no pc bullshit and you kick ass where need be. My last truck driving job was in 1987 then onto Coaches (1995 to 2001) and i have been driving commercial vehicles since 1973 when i was 18. Travel and Driving gets into your blood but had to stop thru injury 18 years ago, so i get my Fix now on the "Truck Driving simulators" on my computer!....Keep safe.
