Careful with that easy drain valve. Can catch something in the road like a tire tread and if it hits it you can break it. Doesn't take long for hot oil to drain.
Здраствуйте !! у вас отличные грузовики !!!! Читая ваши кометы понимаю что дела не айс !!! держитесь ...мы тоже держимся за все что можно )))))) все удачи и здоровья !!!
Dec 23 2022 I Was Just Watching On You Tube A Video Of Some Buissness Owner Buying Western Star Dump Trucks New For $250,000 Each He Says He’s Doing Very Very Well And Will Replace His Fleet With All New Equipment And He Claims To Have A Very Expensive Collection Of Rolex Watches , Some Are Very Lucky I Guess
They’re almost done building that new container yard in Albany Oregon wonder how that will effect your volume? Company I work for ditched all their flatbeds a few years ago we only have about 15 4 axle curtain sides left and even then are hard to find loads for. Our money is all wrapped up in timber, logs, chips, and heavy equipment
After four decades of thinking it would get better I realized I’d take 3 steps forward in the grand times and 5 steps backwards in the bad. Trucking has been declining since 82 and had sucked since the 90’s. Get a good job with a pension so u don’t end up broke in your retirement while u can.
Yeah the pension part is what I'm thinking about right now, being 37 years old, I like trucking but is it going to provide for the later years of my life.
@@MrWiseinheart , Was told many a moon ago, that the average age a person "wakes up" and starts planning / saving for retirement is 35. A good 15 years too late. But better late than too late. . . .
I think every part of trucking industry is a little different. My dad for instance has been trucking for almost 30 years and is enjoying it alot more now after so many trucking companies tried to take advantage of him back in the days with cheap rates.
Get into a different genre of trucking dumps follow Dauminique the truck. Seattle WA. Or reefer work Cash is King trucking MN. Or DIY Semi he does reefer also up in WIS. Good luck
I wouldn't recommend that easy drain valve, a friend of mine had it installed, was going down the highway and hit a piece of recap on the highway broke the valve off, and almost blew the motor before he noticed that his oil gauge was low, had to be towed to a shop cost him a few $$$$$$ .
Come over here to the Arizona mines. We working hard and making great money. 20 to 25k gross a month. Not the best but it pays the bills and keeps the truck rolling.
Did u just change fuel filters in the middle of the street dropping the fuel on the Road????? That may be one of the reasons we are like doing so bad on this business
@@rexcarter9490 it’s decent. So last week I made $2500 and this week I should be at $3800. These #s aren’t including those damn company deductions or fuel. But I do local. Local (in DFW) will average you between $600-$800 a day. My bad days have been $500. My best day was pushing 1k. We have routes going out to Tulsa or OKC and they are $650-$900 round trip. Going down to the ports in Houston pay around the same but I prefer local work. The drivers that go to Houston or OK clear about 3k after deductions. But since I started intermodal this past august it’s been consistently busy so I have no complaints at the moment.
Not too bad considering we have emission motors only lasting 300k around here lol.. we sold a cat 6NZ with 1.1 million original miles few years back still running solid 💪
Curious cause I run Seattle/Tacoma ports in Washington as a company driver and going owner op. All companies I'd haul for are saying 07 and newer motor. I see this w9 and the 389 daily. So I was curious on how he got a 6nz in.
We hauled flatbed, dry vans and so far containers pay the best over here with the right contacts.. our rates nearly doubled since last year compared to everything else plus fuel surcharge.
@@CustomRigs my father-in-law drives log truck in oregon his routes are pretty normal. pays by the load. Gotta get your pintle hitch endorsement though if u have 5th wheel endorsement you can do alot with a logging company lowboy chip trailer and so on
