Wow! You have gravely underestimated the potential from Kenworth. Here is a list of trucks suitable for SnowRunner from Kenworth. • C500 | (you mentioned) • C500B | • C500K | • K500 | (you mentioned) • 552 | 1956 • 849 | 1972 • 850 | 1970 • 855 | • 853D | 1947 • 953 | • 963 | 2021 • L924 | 1964 • LW900 CGL | 1980 • LW924 | 1973 • XM523 | 1960 • XM523E2 | 1961 The XM523E2 is probably my most wanted truck for the game. Its one of the beefiest most rugged machines I've ever seen. Only 2 or 3 were ever manufactured. The truck was in competition with Oshkosh's M911 for the US Army. However Kenworth lost and discontinued production. It would be legendary to see it get fully modelled into the game. Btw if you look up the truck you will see two different ones. One of them is from International. Not sure why it has the same name. Also coincidently a military transporter.
Man that's a lot of trucks and all of them looks suitable for Snowrunner...I couldn't find any of them on intenet when I make this video but yes They do have a lot of models that would look good in game. If possible can you contact me on discord, etc. In future videos I can use some information as I don't know much about trucks.
"Mack makes mostly highway trucks now." The anthem is literally they're only dedicated OTR truck. The Granite and Pinnacle are both vocational models with higher ground clearance
I don't know much about their models...I only know Anthem TBH but when I research a little on their offroad range I find they used to have a lot of military grade offroaders which we can use in SR.
If any Mack truck is coming I'd say it's the Mack Titan. It was originally made for road trains in Australia and set the record for longest/heaviest road train ever in 2006 with 1 truck pulling 113 connected trailers weighing about 1,300 tons. That particular Titan had 3 rear drive axles like the Derry 4520 in game. AWD would be a toss up but diff lock would probably be guaranteed. I could also see them repeating what they did with the 49X and adding a superpowered engine only for that truck to reference it's road train heritage.
Perfect hob had been done, congratulations !!! Also i think that map where is always sun and all trees are green , not only spruce but also oaks, cedars, birches . Where is fields , it would be very interesting and beautiful map♥️
Power trailer trucks would be really nice addition to the game. This type of machines is producing today, mostly for military tasks. For example- Multidrive vehicles. But now most of such trailers are driven by hydraulics (like AddiDrive Assist). But still, Ural 380 and Zil 137 are the best from this class of truck and I really want to see these monsters ingame.
I think older trucks fit the environment better than newer ones. But truck manufactures probably prefer their newest, or at least under production trucks for promotion purpose. Like Western Star, synchronously release their new truck in real life and simulators. By the way, it seems like MAN's license is easier to get, because they are several simulator games' first or only licensed trucks, examples like: German Truck Simulator, the only licensed truck, SCS Software's (Yeah, the DEV of Euro Truck Simulator2 and American Truck Simulator) first licensed truck; Farming Simulator 2015, the only licensed truck in base game, the first licensed truck in FS series, TATRA came with DLC later as the second; Construction Simulator 2015, the only licensed truck; There may be more examples.
I request they would get a C500, but not the 6x6, but the 10 wheeler (I don't know the drivetrain irl.) And for MAZ trucks, speaking of E-7310, they could add E-7429 (and it's basically Kolob, i don't know if devs want to make Kolob just a military brand or a brand that produces trucks outside of military too.) and it has same wheels as E-7310. Kamaz 65111 (i think) would be cool. My own name for it is Azov 64155. Btw correction that the truck image you showed in the power trailers thing was not Zil 137, but Zil 131.
@@SD1ONE Oh sorry about that, i never heard of the Zil 137 before, but it is a unique and amazing truck. Technology is surprising, even in the old days.
KW also used to make a badass logging truck, you can still see them running around. KW also used to make a 10x10 twinsteer similar to the paystar 5600ts. It is used to this day for crane work and farming work. That truck would be pretty cool.🤘😬🤘
Good summary, another Kenworth that should be considered is the Kenworth 850. It's an ultra-heavy duty off-highway truck designed for logging but also used for other off-highway applications. It's similar in era and class to the Pacific P16. I'm also very curious to see what form of the C500 we get, if any, considering the massive range of C500 builds that exist.
For me personally, I really miss the Praga V3S in the SR. It may be not the most known brand and truck, but its a true CzechoSlovak 6x4 powerhouse. Its so good in fact, that they still run till now all across the globe (yes, even in Africa, south America, etc....) . And then maybe some other Tatra, Scania too....
2:41 That R-Model pictures lives in Allentown at the Mack Museum. That picture is pretty old, the salt body got taken off and now it is just a cab&chassis with a plow mount. Also, the size ratio on the DM was a bit off.
I know this isn’t related to this video but a detail i’ve noticed and what to share with people is that when you leabe your truck off and idle your driver falls asleep, they fall asleep quicker when it’s night
Just no more highway trucks or trucks with a dead axle, and I will be pretty happy. Would love to se them add some European brands like Mercedes or Scania.
I'd really like to see the mercedes arocs 8x8 and unimog get added also toyota arctic hilux at38 for scout class very missed opportunities for great trucks! Also almost forgot the king maz 7310 miss that truck!
I think there may be a chance of seeing the king of mudrunner coming to snowrunner. Considering we have been collecting some familiar trucks in a few of the phases like phase 8 with the pike and k-700
Although we do get King of Spintires and Snowrunner already i.e MAZ 537 or Zikz 605R...If we get E-7310 or it's 8x8 siblings We'll have all the kings and maybe It could beat Zikz 605R in SR.
The Husky line of vehicles by the Canadian "Foremost" company would be an interesting addition - they are made for harsh terrain. Though their treads might be a challenge - they could make a fictional wheeled version if they didn't feel like they could make it.
Hello! Great material! It's good that there is a large group of ambitious Creators/Moders and we can use many of their projects and car brands. My dream is for Polish trucks like STAR and Jelcz to appear
5:35, they wouldn't be too big for snowrunner at all, I use the ziks pack, and the Thunderstorm (12x12), is about the size of the Twinsteer while also being more maneuverable, the Storm (16x16) is a bit longer than the Twinsteer.
Bro, All 3 Western Star DLC truck doesn't even have drive shaft, etc given to front. Originally devs released them without AWD but due to public pressure they rushed to give them AWD but forgot to add all the mechanism thats needed to make them AWD. White 47x series might have this option from third party or something in real life but 57X doesn't even have space for front drive shaft.
@@SD1ONE Yeah just because the devs left out a visual effect has no bearing on the real world versions. All the trucks in the wolf pack can be equipped with AWD and air lockers.
@@FCKy613 From what I heard, 57X is strictly highway truck and it's design also suggests it's meant for highway...can you give me link to some article or official WS page where it's mentioned that it can be equipped with AWD.
Highway trucks aren't terrible, heck I ran the CLT and Transtar around Maine. I got most of my RWD trucks setup as fuel trucks now, but still they can go. They can't handle the really hard maps like Amur, but still they can do more than people credit them for. They should really edit the 57X and remove AWD. I drove that thing through the Devil's Mud Pit in North Port Alaska with a Step-Deck trailer when it only had RWD, it was very slow going yes, but I got through without a winch. The truck doesn't need RWD, and realistically there is nowhere in the front you could even fit a powered drive shaft. Make that truck RWD again but add Diff-Lock to it, that's all it needs. And while we're at it, add Diff-Lock to the CLT9000 and Transtar. The 47X series can keep AWD. While they might not have it out of the factory with the ground clearance they got if someone wanted to modify one, it looks like it would be possible to do. Maybe not realistically practical but who cares about that in a game? As long as it looks reasonable and at least possible to do, I'm fine with it. Also is there a Kensworth Twin-Steer? I think I remember somebody in another video mentioning one.
But doesn't it look weird having a low to ground truck like 57X moving in deep mud, The reason they add AWD to it is because of people complaining as it was a paid DLC but like you explain it's unrealistic and that's why I wish them to avoid such additions in future. There's a Kenworth C500 Twinsteer but it looks very similar to WS Twinsteer so it would basically be same truck.
@@SD1ONE I dunno, if this was MudRunner then yeah it may bother me. MudRunner, at least in the are of vehicle physics and terrain deformation felt more realistic. SnowRunner has always felt more... casual, arcady I guess? If the game felt like it was at least trying to be realist, then yeah RWD trucks would feel overpowered frankly. But snowRunner is full of areas that aren't even deep that slow you to a crawl, vehicles that roll over way to easily, hell some vehicles (like the Actaeon) it's a bit of a core just to get them to drive straight and not sway all over the road/trail. I don't really see the point in arguing for hyper realism in a game that in of itself isn't even trying to be realistic. Like I said MudRunner, sure I'd agree. SnowRunner though, not so much.
@@justinlynch3 Fair Point, Although I still try to see it as close to those old games i.e Spintires/Murunner so It does bother me but It also depends on one's point of view. Your point is valid though.
@@SD1ONE Also interesting about the C500 Twin-Steer btw. I wonder if they would use that to kinda fix the mistakes they made with the WS Twin-Steer? Didn't the ANK Civilian come about because to get the ANK featured in the North Port loading screen, Saber admitted they had to remodel the entire truck, that it wasn't as easy for them as just taking the already in-game ANK and just making the bed detachable? I could swear that's what they claimed, that had to build a new model of the truck. I wonder if that's why they never added a saddle to the WSTS, because they's have to do the same thing and build a whole new version of the truck. They could add the C500TS with a lower suspension and saddle in mind, and use that truck to fix the oversight on the WSTS while still technically having a new truck. But yeah if it really looks that close to the WSTS then I guess they probably won't use it. Still would be cool to have though plus it'd give us 3 Twin-Steers all with different abilities - Western Star Twin-Steer = Huge lift and 60' tires makes it a offroad beast, but is restricted to it's default 4-slot bed. - International Twin-Steer - Less offroad capable but has 3-slot cargo bed + dolly axle trailer support. - Kenworth Twin-Steer - Less offroad capable like the ITS, but has a 3-4 slot cargo bed that can give up one slot to add saddle support. (though presumably no dolly support for balancing)
Mack RS700 with a special hood ornament of an angry duck (if you know you know) I’m honestly always been disappointed by the lack of Ford semis in the game because we only have the CLT9000, a highway truck, when the L series exists and we’re quite famous for being pretty good trucks but that’s just my opinion. Same with Peterbilt as well, big brand that I’m suprised isn’t on this list.
A Wabco 50B would be a good addition for the Ontario maps as it is a large truck that has a large container in the back like the Caterpillar 770G but the Wabco's tanker is for water not fuel
Another company id wish would make it into the game is Peterbilt, We see all kinds of different trucks like the 1955 Peterbilt Needle nose 231 or Maybe even The Peterbilt Ghost 546, trucks like those
Id love to see the Mercedes G class W463 in game as a scout. I know Saber doesn’t have Mercedes licensing yet. But its really a missed opportunity that it wasn’t included in the Ontario map, especially since they’re used by the Canadian Army.
Honestly i think you're wrong,i think highway truck should be in the game and the devs should make more maps more focused on them or hell even officially add such maps to the game from the modders like the Highway map mod. Basically instead of casting aside the highway truck concept they should try to shine some light and convince players to use them more by adding more on-road maps and bigger maps that way you are incentivised to use a highway truck with highway gearbox for the bigger maps that are on-road and the normal off-road trucks for off-road work.
The highway physics of game is weird TBH so before adding highway maps they have to improve road physics which looks like impossible as the physics is same in last 2 games in this series, So maybe we have to wait for the next game in series for that to happen but until then there might not be a lot of people who'll use highway trucks, I mean they already tried with Western Star 57X DLC later they gave them unrealistic AWD.
Speaking about kamaz. I personally wrote several times to mr. Sorokin, to suggestion and pts-discussin chats in discord suggestions, that we need Azov pack. Most of those Xenophobia gues in discord laughted at me. But mr. Sorokin gave us fucking useless azov sprinter that 99 percent of players wont remember after 7 season. Nice done!
More good trucks that will never make it even though they are perfect: Autocar Constructor 2 and others; they are beastly trucks from back in the day that could dominate in snowrunner. Look up pictures of heavy duty Autocars, so many good choices. Even the new DC64D as a long frame would be decent. Ford LTL900; decent off-road truck that would fit in with Fleetstar and WesternStar (not oilfield truck the other one) and also just bring it back for MudRunner historical purposes but better. International S-Model; great trucks built for vocational purposes, S1900 could be a small scout even, and have S2500 be the heavy duty truck. Like someone else mentioned in the comments, Kenworth has so many old options. Mack has many old military trucks, plus the Mack Titan is huge and perfect. Peterbilt; Their old logging trucks are huge beefy editions and with plenty of mods of newer stuff, they have got to be seen by developers. Scot; A rare and largely unknown truck from Canada, They have super huge oilfield trucks even the on road trucks are huge. Many more but that is all for now.
I think we will get New Kamaz, Maz, Kraz models in future updates Snowrunner must to sell its new seasons)) Also I’m hoping for Stryker😂 and maps for scouts!!!
Nice video!! Very engaging from the begining to the End. To obtain financial freedom, one must either be a business owner, an investor or both, generating passive income, particularly on a monthly basis.
@Mauricio Alvarado Sanchez Yeah!! It would be more beneficial and yield more profit if you actually trade on cryptocurrency, I've been trading since the dip. I've made so much profit trading
We need old Kenworth 525s or Peterbilt Logging trucks from The 50s, or 60s. There's so much many old vintange offroad trucks from Kenworth alone it can fill multiple DLC seasons. Hence why I hope Modders will do it instead lol
@@SD1ONE Heck, theres even older ones like Pacific or Hayes or White Western Star trucks. They don't only make huge offroad trucks but also On/Off Highway semi cabs. The true OGs of the Logging scene apart from the huge P16s. So much can be done and I hope modders also take advantage of this like in ATS. As they got a lot of vintage trucks over there.
I don’t necessarily mind the highway trucks just give us AWD and diff lock on them. It makes no sense to have the CLT9000 or Transtar in the game as they are now, they’re absolutely useless on 99.9% of the roads on the maps
@@SD1ONE yeah, the MAN truck pack has two or three military trucks and two civilian commercial style ones. . Lol I’m on Xbox series X and no longer have access to them because of the “next Gen” upgrade.
