I became severely disabled a few years ago and I realized that scent is a powerful way for me to feel like I'm being transported to places that I can't go to anymore. This channel taught me almost everything I know about scented candles. Thank you for helping to open up worlds for me.

What I love about the Detailed Dream channel is how informative the videos are. I remember when I first came across one your videos, you were so knowledgable and honest about the candle.

What I enjoy about this channel is the perfect subtle/moody lighting in each video, coupled with the rhythm with which you speak, the subtle injection of humor (definitely add more video cuts of basketball, enjoyed that KD ankle breaker in this one), and lastly that ending music theme that always gets stuck in my head 😅….all in all that keeps me coming back to your channel and you’ve made me create a long list of candles to purchase in the future so thanks!

When I was younger, I could never use anything scented because my Mom hates scented stuff, so now that I am on my I own I finally get to do the things that I want to do! A lot of the basics that I learned about candles is from your channel. I've learned about all these different candle brands from you - every tier of brand, from affordable to luxury. (Really loved your Candle Tier lists). I enjoy your reviews more because you're not some boring housewife, you're sassier, more fresh than that. I don't get bored watching your reviews. Your stuff feels more informative, more professional than other candle reviews. Also, gotta repeat that I really loved the Candle Tier Lists you do, those vids helped me figure out which candle sets to start my journey with. I went with Apotheke because of your review, did not regret it! I want to make clear the distinction between you and "housewife," reviews. Imagine instead of candles, the conversation was about wine. A "housewife review," would be like I was talking to a friend about what wine to drink - pretty informally, decent but ultimately limited knowledge. You, on the other hand are more like a sommelier. You have the experience-based knowledge that a housewife would have but you also have a more formal knowledge about what you're talking about. Who would I trust to sell me a product more, my friend with limited knowledge or someone who has a more formal training? Easy Answer for me: It's you.

Love the complete explanation of both the cold aromas vs when it being burned because I often pass up good candles at first smell if the floral notes are too strong. Knowing they take a back seat to the herbal notes when it’s burning was very helpful info. I have always loved your basic candle, but last year I was testing out Boy Smells. Two weeks ago I dropped over $200.00 at Lafco (Thanks 😂), but already have another Labdanum in my cart. Love the scent and the vessel, but I'm sad that the hot throw is so weak. I only got a very light whiff of it now and then. A bit disappointed, since Trudon is one of my fave brands and have so many amazing candles. I love that your videos is short and to the point, after 10 minutes I am informed. I love that you don't go on and on for hours about stuff you already told, but still personal and entertained. I bought the classic Versailles candle and love the scent. It’s pretty strong and smells like flowers and lilacs. I prefer it over Tullieries which came across as weak. The powder blue vessel is so pretty too.
