In today's video i restored a pair of True Blue 3s from 2016. This pair of Jordan True Blue 3s is the worst pair i have ever held in my hands! They were so beat in the beginning, but after hours of work and stress they came out very clean.

You should un crease the leather with a iron then paint

I didn’t have access to a iron at that time, and my client that I was doing the restoration for did not want me to uncrease em because they would just get creased again. But if it was my choice I would have done that

Leather shoe stretch n heat gun removes creases and they don’t come back instantly.

Angelus says that it’s a perfect match for the 01 version of the shoe. So they insist for any other version being that the blue is darker a few drops of navy blue or black should do the trick.

This is exactly what i was looking for thanks.. my pair is super clean but i noticed on one shoe the mid sole where the blue is painted started cracking.. i hate the polyurethane material on mid soles because they start to crack and peel fast. I also noticed that the shade on the 2016s is darker than the true blue paint from. 01

I'm looking to restore my pair but i noticed that on the angelus website it says the true blue paint matches the 2001 pair. The 2016 pair is a slightly darker shade of blue.. any recommendations on which blue paint would go better with the 2016 true blues?
