I understand the Tuttle connection and it is no doubt the family, but they are a well known rich & politically connected family within the series universe, so it does not mean they actually have anything to do with these particular murders other than funding the research.

I think the little boy was Liz Danvers' biological son with husband Jake and Leah is Jake's daughter from a previous relationahip. I read somewhere that Travis was miming someone drowning, pointing to where the frozen scientists are. I don't think Danvers fails to notice things; I think she doesn't want to reveal all she knows to everybody.

I find it hard to believe this isn't going the supernatural angle when a lady literally finds bodies frozen in a tundra because a ghost leads her there. She had zero way of just "bumping into" that exact spot.

Seems like there is a battle between Christianity and the Night Country demon. The Christmas tree gets replaced with the Corpsiciles. Navarro throws the cross into the show with disgust. And Danvers is ostensibly Christian but behaves just the opposite while also being very contemptuous of the native traditions.
@nikkirobertson2341
@nikkirobertson2341 8 месяцев назад
Christianity is being attacked across the west. This show is just adding to that attack. May be the cross was thrown out, because it was symbolic to Navanos mother? She was mentally unwell and as children Navano & her sister went through alot. Rosa, told Navano, the dead visit you when they miss you, want to tell you something or want to take them with you. Then Navano has that knee jerk experience. I think later on we will see her realising her mother was trying to tell her something. Danvers reffered to decorating the tree with foul language. Jesus message was God lives in all of us, but majority of people have been less by the devil temptation. Danvers affairs, bad language bad attitude and intolerance is someone lead astray by pain of losss. I believe deep down she's a good women gone astray like many who suffer with trauma. People say why has God allowed this, but forget that God gave us free will. We create our own way. The world has been lead astray and this is a reflection of this.
@Stress-Free-K
@Stress-Free-K 8 месяцев назад
@@nikkirobertson2341 Danvers just seems like a woman who knows what she wants. So does Navarro for that matter. And were they men they'd be seen as an Alpha and revered by Christians as well (national politics notwithstanding). I do think there will be a battle between native folk and the "Christians". But it will be the native traditions that will save them. Because the real demon is the DNA manipulating done at Tsalal that is bringing people back from the dead and the mining that's destroying the land.

I agree with you 100%. I don't think it's supernatural. It does have a spiritual element but it will all be able to be explained scientifically at the end. I think they will stay true to the other two detective seasons where they just hint at it, and and its actually depends on the viewer whether it's supernatural or scientific.

I really wanted to like this show. However, all the characters are miserable and unhappy. The dialogue is not realistic. The physical scenes are shallow and transactional. The show checks all the boxes for modern Hollywood (racism, anti-white, men are not intelligent, all relationships don’t last). It is basically Los Angeles in the snow.

I am keenly desirous of gaining additional insights into the intricate and captivating realm of the detective crime narrative embedded within the fabric of the show. However, my fervent inclination leans towards a divergence from the aforementioned focus, as I find myself yearning for a more profound exploration of the identity politics intricately interwoven into the narrative tapestry. Moreover, I harbor a distinct dissatisfaction with the portrayal of certain male characters within the show, perceiving them as feeble and impuissant individuals, utterly devoid of the competence required to fulfill their professional obligations with commendable efficacy. In articulating my sentiments regarding the show's thematic dynamics, I am compelled to express a heartfelt yearning for a more extensive and robust discourse revolving around the indomitable strength and resilience of female characters. In my humble estimation, the show would undoubtedly benefit from a heightened emphasis on fervent and empowering discussions among its female personas, thereby contributing to a more balanced and enriching viewing experience. In summation, while my initial quest was centered around delving deeper into the detective crime elements, my evolving contemplation underscores the imperative need for a nuanced exploration of identity politics and a pronounced elevation of fierce female dialogues within the narrative framework of the show.
