@@eyesopen66 Mohican state park. I was 19 and there was a sighting in the newspaper. Arrogant said to myself “if it’s real I can find it. Took 2 minutes. Since then I’ve seen them dozens of times. They walk by my house all the time. Growl at me. I made fun of them one night by whistling at them. Pissed them off. Every night they would slap my house hard. Lasted about 6 weeks. Walked out the door one morning to walk dogs and one was right there 20 feet away.

I question the verasity of this story. The boy's journal sounded like a novel rather than a journal, and why did the uncle and the boy go back to camp and get into their sleeping bags after they knew that the crypted knew about that camp and might return? I wouldn't do that.

It's creepy pasta. A lot crappy fan fiction writers sneak in their stories to channels like this because nowhere else would read their pretentious crap. To be fair to this writer, they do a pretty good job of not being over descriptive to immediately let on it's fan fiction, but they let it run on too long to be a real account.

Got tired if waiting for a man to take her camping, etc. So she learned on her own. I admire her. She has her own RV. She knows how to do everything. 16:30 in and the uncle and nephew return to their ransacked camp to change clothes and rest? Sure. That's what people do after a cryptid has taken one of your party, wrecked your camp, hunted you then vanished. You wouldn't escape in the boat that makes too much sense. Even without the key, assuming the dad had the key securely on his person when eaten by the monster, you would drift and paddle. Let me guess... you don't have the required paddles and no wherewithal to make some out of anything. So far completely realistic.

I didn’t focus on it right away but when my dog began to react I turned on my voice recorder on my phone and caught the last minute of this howl… it sounded just like the howl you hear on tv shows depicting what a yeti sounds like! Creeped me out so much I moved into my house and locked the doors, never heard it since.

That was such a great story, full of mystery and suspense, I love how it kept me on the edge of my seat! Would make for a awesome Stevenphen King movie Your narrative was.spot on! I really enjoyed just how you were able to get me there right beside the characters portrayed in the story, especially underneath the bridge, when the creature was right in front of the Uncle, and nearly touching his nose, rock in hand, I would have swung at the Monster! Good thing the Uncle had better scenes The scene at the cave, where the Ranger felt compelled to search deeper into the cave armed with only a handgun, there would be no way in hell I would have gone searching for the man or his remains, man would have been MIA as far as I was concerned 😟 The Rangers climactic fight was fantastic 👏 👌 and his retrieving the remains of the missing man was poetic, but to find that the creature was still alive! Was Brilliant! and yet expected. The rest of the story was equally interesting and the Rangers eventually made it back to the cabin and delivered the bad news, the wife and Uncle were relieved that the remains were returned so that there at least would be closer, however the little boy last words will forever echo in mine mind.... " How will it help my Dad ? ", that hit me right in the heart, I am listening to this one day after Father's day! 😢 Awesome story, I look forward to the next story. Thanks 😊 🙏

Well, if there’s something dangerous like this out in the woods, the ranger would’ve called in and they would’ve had a whole bunch of people out there tracking it before it killed again so I’m saying BS to the story lol

Hey, we all know this is a story by an aspiring writer. But the problem is that a writers story doesn't translate well for a supposedly true story. The book that a teenager left behind isn't related to reality. The Park ranger not wanting to disturb the tents and contents because it may be a crime scene, then puts the body of the dead guy on his back and takes it to his wife's house, then he walks away, leaving it there, is absurd. I think it may be a young teen writer, that doesn't yet grasp the realities of the world we live in. It was an interesting story, kept me listening until the end, although many times I almost clicked off of it.
