The sugar loaf mango just bursts into flavors, very rich flavored mango, like a pina colada. Thanks for having me over at you tasting table, it was delicious and you are so welcoming. Blessings Chris.
I just tried sweet tart for the first time here at truly tropical,,, sweet tart was perfect tasting and the skin is very complementary to the flesh when eaten together,,, I wouldn’t have it any other way,, lol well I would eat it any way, any day, anytime but I do enjoy it with skin on 😂😂,, the highlight of the day was getting to taste several varieties at the truly tropical drop table, Chris and team was very welcoming as usual,,,, I’m happy to be apart of themangoplace/ TrueType tropical family, 🤩🤩🤩🥳🥳😘😘
I new he was going to choose Sugarloaf truly it's one of the best fruits I've ever tasted and the color on the inside is very different as well, the guy hit the nail on the head when he said like pina colada, and that's exactly right with a hint of peach flavor as well. I'm getting rid of some trees to make room for Sugarloaf x's 3
A new fan of your channel here :). Just a quick observation about the name 'Chok Anan' which is misspelled as ChocAnon throughout. The etymology of this mango name most probably points to the words 'Chok' meaning 'Luck' in Thai and 'Anan' which comes from the Sanskrit word 'Ananda' meaning 'Bliss'. So I guess, this delicious mango was roughly meant to be called "Lucky Bliss". Would be glad if a native Thai could corroborate this.
My next tree will be E4. I am moving back to Fla, and will plant this tree where I lost my Valencia pride to a hurricane. it ripens green, so this should help deter 2 legged bandits.
