We have a AA mega church preacher in my local area who lives in a 4 million house in a gated community most of his congregation are middle to low income. He drove from the north side of town down to south side to talk that bs every Sunday. He preached a sermon that he is being persecuted because the IRS is after his him. He is a clown and his sheep believes him. He did that same crap Noel Olsteen did. We had an ice storm people power was out for days. His officers ask if could open the church for members and he said NO. Yet came back Sunday and preached how good god is because he and his family were good they dod not miss a beat when their 4, not 1. 2 or 3 but 4 Generac generators kicked in. Christians are the majority, their persecution, the tiny amount that's there, is not that significant. The amount of "persecution" that the Christian majority and "every group" faces, is just people being assholes. You can find one of those with hate towards every group like you said, but it's hardly persecution as we would think of it.

He also said Israel was carrying out a genocide against Palestine when in fact, Israel has done more in terms of welfare for Palestinians than PLO, hamas or any other terrorist group has ever done. I'm a former Christian who saw the light and left that ridiculous cult as well. It's been 18 years now, since I realized it was all bullshit. Trump didn't lead me to the truth, but I get how that may have happened for a lot of people. In my case, my church elders got tired of not having good answers for the questions I kept raising and eventually they just told me to read my Bible and ask God to guide me to the answers. So I did. I actually read the Bible. Not just the highlights that get cycled through again and again. I read the whole thing. And by the time I was about 30% into it, I was an Atheist.

Plus, there were casualties at the border concentration camps IIRC, which you can trace to his orders. Plus, there are the dead officers and insurrectionist from Jan 6, which are his fault too... The man may not have shot anyone on 5th Avenue, but I think that's more out of sheer cowardice than anything else. He has no problem with other people dying by his orders.

I have lost a few friends on Face Book because of my stance and comments on Trump. It's interesting that most of the friends that have blocked me are people from my elementary and high school days. I graduated HS in 1976, so most of those folks are in their 60s. Only one person from my college days did that. I attended a small, liberal arts college, from which I earned my Bachelor's degree in 1993. Most of my college friends are in their late thirties and early forties, and are much more progressive than my childhood friends.

The reference to "Easter worshippers" was because it happened during Easter Mass. Easter, besides Christian, means a time of peace and reflection. They highlighted that these Christians were killed while practicing their faith, not merely as they went about their daily lives. For example, the Trump ordered attack on Christians in a Church, who were not actively worshiping.

How odd, I was a Christian for 60 years and never thought of Easter as a time of peace. I know it was supposed to be reconciliation with God but, the human sacrifice overrode that in my brain. It was always a problem for me, how I stuck with it so long is what puzzles me.

Human lives are sacrificed every day to uphold specific ideas or principles. I had a difficult childhood, so my perspective was that crucification was a token amount of suffering; mundane death as an escape from the limitations of time and space. Death and peace are deeply linked from my trauma. I’m glad you found another path.

If anyone is still confused whether to vote Conservative or Liberal: just compare "the most conservative countries" to "the most liberal countries" and check which countries on those lists enjoy the most "Happiness." It's Interesting those SAME "Happiest" countries are also rated with the MOST "Personal Freedom" and are "Safest" of all countries. The other list is rated LEAST on those qualities of any other country. The 5 Most Conservative Countries: Yemen Mali Iran Pakistan Chad The 5 Most Liberal Countries: Norway Sweden Denmark Finland Iceland No spoilers, but do we even have to look up which country's people are "Happiest", have the most "Personal Freedom", and are "Safest" of all, and which are least of all? (It's an easy lookup, if necessary). After looking at the obvious reality for yourself, why would any sane person risk a vote to move our country towards more 'conservative'? Is their precious "Hate" worth sacrificing more happiness, personal freedoms, and safely?

He's never read any book. He has what is known as Developmental Dyslexia which is a form of dyslexia which allows the sufferer to actually read out loud, like off a teleprompter, but without understanding the words. It's like reading a foreign language. Imagine how good someone would be in school if they couldn't read a text book, couldn't read an exam paper. Trump would have been the worst student in every class he ever took. Any fake qualifications he might have been given were bought and paid for by daddy. That's why he's fought so hard to keep his grades a secret. Back in his day developmental dyslexia would not have been known about so his teachers would just have thought he's retarded.

Trump changed his mind of his own volition exactly when he announced he was running for president and it benefited him politically to do so. Biden was playing to the crowd when he supported gay marriage years before his own political party and well before being gay was widely accepted in the US. These two thoughts coexist in his brain. He can actually hold two contradictory thoughts to be true simultaneously and thats actually kinda fascinating.

I don’t know if the hosts chose to ignore that detail in favor of another approach or line of conversation, but I would’ve personally held his feet to the fire on this transgression until he either admitted he is a dishonest hypocrite or changes his views (at least states on air that he does). I’m not as easily irritated and crass as Matt and Jimmy (which I don’t necessarily think is always a bad thing, by the way), but in this case I would curse and mock to my heart’s content until Andrew faced his own hypocrisy. My civility has a very low limit when it comes to intellectual dishonesty.
