ZootyZoFo Well, I'm sure this is just the beginning of a great new America - all thanks to Trump! If I was as good as you at predicting our glorious American future, I would get a tattoo on my forearm saying "MAGA! Trump 2017!" Make sure to get it in all sorts of different colors so that people can see it. There's no POSSIBLE way a tattoo like that could be a horrific embarrassment in the future, right? Be sure to put a video of your new tattoo on RU-vid and provide a link so we can admire it.
@ZootyZoFo
@ZootyZoFo 6 лет назад
TheTooginator - Screw the tattoo, I have made so damn much money this year in the Trump-stimulated market I’m getting a full gangsta grill with MAGA on it, one letter per tooth! In “Trump Gold” of course, which is 24k for those of you that don’t know. I know that pure gold is soft but hey with all the money that man has made me I can pay people to chew my lobster & caviar for me! That will be my lower grill, the upper grill will have TRUMP17 on it, now I know people don’t generally see 7 upper front teeth when your smiling but I’m smiling so damn hard these days everyone will see it very clearly!

Now don’t think I’m misogynistic, I would never grab women in inappropriate places like The Don and I only spank the supermodels that are naughty.

I remember this sketch. In 1990. If my present day self could go back and tell my 1990 self that 30 years from now Donald Trump would be president, lose his reelection campaign, and refuse to concede, thus causing a Constitutional crisis, my 1990 self would laugh my present self to scorn. And 1990 self would also be horrified at how badly I have aged.

That Hooks and Hartman are brilliant is a given; what’s profound is the consistent high quality of the writing during that era. Unlike today’s SNL which has to have a goddamn zany or cloying punchline every three seconds, there was a structure and rhythm to this era’s sketches which actually allowed concepts to breathe. I wish Lorne would allow adults on the writing staff again.
@KernelHughes

Not true. They're good and bad sketches in every era of SNL. You're just biased because of nostalgia.
@jzbass72
@jzbass72 8 месяцев назад
@@KernelHughes, nope. There’s Belushi/Radner/Ackroyd/Eddie stuff that’s unwatchable and Sudeikis/Forte/Mackinnon stuff that’s genius level. The show’s been on the air since Agamemnon, so duh on that point. No amount of nostalgia will ever make Pete Davidson or any of the last four seasons look good, the scripts of which were probably composed under a mixture of alphabet soup with Ex-Lax and then shat out.

I work in automation repair the American people who think the 1950s are coming back have no idea how many jobs are going to be eliminated, the numbers are going to be huge. The states that are poor today will be poor tomorrow, just how it is. Not a Rep. and not a Dem that is why I see things much clearer than those who have been drinking their parties cool-aid. Stocks will rise because companies are paying for automation and not workers, the ones that have jobs their wages will and are flat. The gap between the rich and poor will widen. Take care and hold on its going to be a hard time for the American working poor and its truly just begone.
