We have 9 relevant parties on a national level, as well as lesser parties and pop-up parties that might do well at local elections and maybe even some times at national elections for a time.
My Norwegian grandfather Albert immigrated to USA over a hundred years ago. He is rolling over in his grave now. I'm sure he would NEVER want to come to the America we have now. I would love to learn more about your life in Norway and its political system. We are retired and looking for a country to live.
The current state is a result of decades long slow maneuvering from conservatives with occasional collaboration with the more left party. The bipartisan campaign finance laws were undone by conservative judges appointed by Republicans. The defunding of social programs and deregulation of corporations and banks was done by Republicans. The Democrats helped in some instances and have always been a weak party prone to division while still being vulnerable to republican manipulation and terrible at speaking to the people. They also were resistant to more progressive reforms of the political system. Now the conservatives have come for the very concept of democracy and balance of power. Democrats were out maneuvered. But at least they believe in the rule of law and the constitution. With them we at least have opportunities to fix the system if we work to build up from the bottom. Republicans are literally talking about door to door raids and defunding education.
The clip of Trump administration officials at the end should be a main campaign ad for Biden. Just keep running it, reminding voters what people that actually worked for him thinks about him.

I don’t think he is claiming the recovery was a miracle as much as the fact that he wasn’t killed by what was a very easy shot. Sort of like bowling with bumpers and still missing the pins. I would say the odds of Trump ending up as unharmed as he was fairly miraculous.
