Kevin O'Leary ran for the leadership of the Conservative Party in Canada. A bunch of the other cohosts on 'Dragon's Den' (Canadian Shark Tank) came out and publicly trashed him - told other Canadians not to support him. His candidacy didn't last long. O'Leary's been away from Montreal for so long he probably doesn't even speak French anymore.

Most US citizens have realized, by now, that what happens (or not) in their country, the most influential country in the world, creates repercussions all across our little planet. On the topic of Welfare: Let's not pretend that the biggest companies in the USA (and, let's face it: all developed countries) don't benefit from it, as minimum wage workers often have to use Welfare to supplement their full-time wages that they should be paid. I am from the UK, and we have a similar system called Universal Credit - I cannot tell you how many times I worked 40 hours and still had the Welfare cheque hit my bank account.

Time to investigate O'Leary's 'business practices'.
