I don't even play hearthstone anymore, or care about it, but when I see a trump reviewing Trump I just can't help but click and sit through an hour of content that has absolutely zero impact on anything i'm interested in.

OVERALL ACCURACY: For underrated/overrated cards, the degree of inaccuracy is included next to the timestamp. Ex: Trump underrated Voltaic Burst by one star. As such, it'd appear as 35:07 -1 (because his review was one less than its actual usage result) DRUID (0:28) Underrated: 4:16 -1 Overrated: 0:28 +2, 1:06 +3, 1:55 +3, 2:59 +3, 5:08 +4 Accurate: 1:48, 2:30, 3:59, 4:51 Net average: Trump was 40% accurate, and he overrated the Druid cards by 1.1 stars Personal thoughts: Yes, this seems bad, but keep in mind basically everyone was saying most of the same things - that nearly every Druid card in this set was broken OP and would absolutely rule the meta. Yes, Druid is extremely strong right now, but these cards contribute substantially less to that than what everyone was expecting. HUNTER (6:13) Underrated: 9:16 -3 Overrated: None. Accurate: 6:13, 6:41, 7:25, 8:03, 8:21, 8:48, 10:10, 10:37 11:06 Net average: Trump was 90% accurate, and he underrated the Hunter cards by 0.3 stars MAGE (10:31) Underrated: 10:31 -4, 12:42 -1, 13:13 -1, 13:57 -2, 14:27 -4, 16:43 -2, 17:24 -1 Overrated: None. Accurate:13:53, 15:46, 16:17 Net average: Trump was 30% accurate, and he underrated the Mage cards by 1.4 stars Personal thoughts: I consider this the one Trump was the least accurate as a whole about. The only ones he got right were gimmies, but otherwise he underrated almost the entire Mage set. PALADIN (17:56) Underrated: 19:28 -3, 21:00 -1, 21:38 -1, 22:27 -1, 23:22 -1 Overrated: 18:13 +1 Accurate: 17:56, 20:12, 20:34, 23:00 Net average: Trump was 40% accurate, and he underrated the Paladin cards by 0.6 stars PRIEST (24:00) Underrated: 26:34 -1, 28:36 -1 Overrated: 24:00 +2, 25:03 +3, Accurate: 25:25, 21:51, 25:59, 26:25, 28:00, 28:10 Net average: Trump was 60% accurate, and he overrated the Priest cards by 0.3 stars. Personal thoughts: Literally the only cards he overrated were the key cards for Test Subject OTK. Bonus points to ThatOneGuy (49:04) for being right about it being a meme. ROGUE (29:17) Underrated: 29:17 -1, 29:49 -1, 30:30, -2, 31:33 -1, 31:49 -1, 33:07 -1, 33:42 -2 Overrated: 34:11 +1 Accurate: 30:21, 32:50 Net average: Trump was 20% accurate, and he underrated the Rogue cards by 0.8 stars. Personal thoughts: While this seems very inaccurate, he was "close enough" for the most part - a ton of his errors here were because he underestimated how often people would play these cards, though he was generally right - most of the cards here were experimented with, but not actually used in competitive decks for any extended length of time. SHAMAN (34:48) Underrated: 35:07 -1 37:15 -1, Overrated: 36:35 +1, 37:53 +1 Accurate: 34:48, 35:39, 35:58, 36:18, 38:17, 38:43 Net average: Trump was 60% accurate, and neither underrated nor overrated the Shaman cards on average. Personal thoughts: By far the biggest problem with this review was not necessarily the star ratings - but he assumed Shudderwock would still be a Tier 1 deck going into TBP. Needless to say, he was wrong. He also assumed it would be at a near oppressive level of prevalence (it was a meme how much he touted that deck), so while his reviews here were relatively accurate, I still think his assessment of Shaman was horrendously off. WARLOCK (38:52) Underrated: 40:53 -1, Overrated: 40:23 +1, 41:15 +1, Accurate: 38:52, 39:40, 40:16, 41:38, 41:55, 42:12, 42:25 Net average: Trump was 70% accurate, and overrated the Warlock cards by 0.1 stars. WARRIOR (42:52) Underrated: 42:52 -1, 44:57 -3, 45:47 -4 Overrated: 43:26 +1, 44:01 +2 Accurate: 44:45, 46:30, 46:40, 47:00, 47:29 Net average: Trump was 50% accurate, and underrated the Warrior cards by 0.5 stars Personal thoughts: He was right for the wrong reasons. He hyped up Control (non-Odd) Warrior, yet most of the cards he rated highly (and some which he didn't) were made-or-broken by if they fit into Odd Warrior. Plus, I find it kind of funny that he said he'd rate all Odd Warrior cards 4 stars but only gave that rating to Omega Assembly. NEUTRAL (48:27) Underrated: 52:25 -1,, 55:36, -1, 54:14 -1, 56:46 -1, 57:47 -3, 59:54 -2, 1:02:55 -3, 1:03:54 -1, 1:04:53 -1 Overrated: 50:28 +1, 57:18 -3, 58:43 +1 Accurate: 48:27, 48:51, 50:05, 50:21, 51:00, 51:09, 51:41, 51:51, 52:03, 52:48, 52:58, 53:06, 53:18, 55:23, 54:09, 54:44, 55:36, 55:44, 55:48, 56:05, 56:12, 56:35, 1:00:23, 1:00:34, 1:00:38, 1:00:55, 1:01:01, 1:01:58, 1:02:24, 1:02:35, 1:03:25, 1:04:08, 1:04:28 12/45 Net average: Trump was 73.3% accurate, and he underrated the Neutral cards by 0.17 stars. Overall this is about as accurate as you can get tbh. Trump overall was right on the mark with this expansion.

I also think there's some merit to running Dire Mole over Glow-tron to eat up Dyn-o-matic hits in place of your other dudes. Very niche, but arguably more important than magnetizing it to itself.

Credit to Trump. Kripp and a lot of us thought Mech would be a big thing but Trump held firm to his belief that the cards weren't strong enough to be a thing and was proven right.

Juicy psychmelon is 5 stars in wild. It was one of the strongest cards.

This is part of the reason why I like Trump's reviews over others'. Trump makes bold claims (such as claiming Magnetic won't see play), and he doesn't pussyfoot around like what a lot of other reviewers do (the "It has potential and might see play, though we'll wait and find out"). Yes, these burn him sometimes because he gets things horrendously wrong, but at the same time, I'd rather see someone play risky and get burned rather than say basically the same thing about 80% of cards.

Pretty impressive how accurate your reviews were this round, Trump. A few big misses but that's darn impressive considering the sheer volume of cards. You were within 1 star of most of the set.

Academic Espionage is fucking insane and fun to play with as I expected. My favorite card of the expansion easy.

More so than a lot of sets, I remember people complaining about all of the "OP" cards prior to the set coming out, and look where we are now. People really aren't good at predicting cards the majority of the time.

It's so disappointing how many of those legendary spells suck, almost feels like we were lied to that there are going to be legendary spells in boomsday.

“Mech paladin dosent exist” when my only good deck is a mech paladin ;_; it’s interesting because all of the cards you rate 1 Star, if you combo them all together with a few of the 5 star ones you get a solid combo

Is it really "fair" to give a card 2 stars just because people "experimented" with it at the beginning of the expansion ? I mean, it's kinda normal to do that, doesn't mean the card is better than a 1 star tho.

Once I casted Storm Bringer TWO TIMES in ARENA as a WARRIOR Me and my friend were like yeah time to just make a completely meme deck. So we put in like 2 weapons project, 3 warpaths, holomancer, Witches Cauldron. So... There was this lovely game where we got to get 2 spells from Witches Cauldron, and they somehow were both The Storm Bringer. We laughed to tears as we obliterated our opponent by making huge ass board twice. We laughed even harder when one of our opponents, while we have Holomancer on the field, played the Lichking whilst we had a lot of board. This stupid meme warrior that got such a bad rating by us and heartharena went to 10 wins. One of the lost was even because of AFK XP It is one of those odd ball that somehow just went too right to be true. But man it was hilarious getting two spells from the cauldron and have both being The Storm Bringer, and we got to cast both of them and our opponent just rage quited.

you worth noting that star aligner is a powerhouse in wild, but glazed over the potential of all of the mech synergy in wild. There are some galvanized powerhouse agro decks in wild using some of the early mech and magnetic additions in this expansion (notably mech hunter, but also mech paladin). They're worth trying because they are all fairly cheap decks to build, and have some potentially unbeatable 1-2-3 curves depending on the list!

As much as it's enjoyable to poke fun at Trumpy Boy for wrongness or whatever, I highly respect the fact that he's willing to put his genuine hard opinion out there ( as apposed to basically yes / no / maybe like a Kripp ) AND he'll even go so far as to re-review and see how right or wrong he was. It takes some level of guts to put yourself out there like this, I like it. Thanks, Trump.

As someone who still ocationally plays the rogue leper gnome otk deck in wild, I must say that the goblin bombs slitghtly faster animation is pretty neat at times, as it kills the opponent faster

Cosmic Anomaly + Shooting Star is just a better multi shot that comes with a 4/3 with +2 Spell Damage. I wonder why no one caught this.

Ugh, violet haze. I lost an arena runs to two rogues that highrolled me with violet haze. One got the legendary paladin weapon and Void Lord, the other got mechanical whelp (with a necrium blade equipped) and the corpse flower (with 2 cheap shots in his deck, so resets on it)

I have a wild mage deck that uses Luna's Pocket Galaxy and it's actually insane I didn't build the deck around Pocket Galaxy, I just slotted it into an existing deck the deck already ran a bit of card draw in the form of Aluneth and Arcane Intellect, but it's not even really necessary (although Aluneth + Pocket Galaxy is crazy) unless your opponent has lethal on you next turn, it can be used as a decent comeback card

They will have to be carful with good mechs in the future because of magnetic in standard.

I feel like cards that hit it off in wilds but not standard should get some mention. I'd actually like to see a modern list too like 4 years of rotations or something without a classic set to make a super spicy format that will no doubt make for some interesting decks that you won't see in other formats. The balance might be a bit weird but it would certainly be interesting. more interesting than wild.

"1 Star: this is ridiculous overkill" See, this is why I like Trump's reviews, rather than base myself off raw stats. Some cards serve no purpose other than BM. They'll never be played in a losing game, because they're either too slow, too unimpactful, too random, etc. So when they are played, they always win (or almost always anyway), so that pads the stats in their favor. Analyzing the card and seeing that despite its insanely good winrate, it is still bad because if you win after playing it, you were gonna win anyway. Its effective impact on the game only lies in these outlier games where extremely specific conditions are met.

For topsy turvy otk priest: The main reason the deck doesnt work all that well really is the time limit. I believe that, in some situations, it may be almost impossible to do all what you have to do in the time limit(Like vs a giggling inventor board). So yeah, this deck is a victim of mechanics.
