It is likely that the DOJ will with draw prosecution on the stolen documents case if they get overwhelming convictions in Georgia and the DC insurrection case. Trump can only serve so much time before he dies in prison. Both Georgia and DC can put him away for the rest of his life. Cannon, no matter what she does, is not going to keep Trump out of prison. But she will end her own legal career when the DOJ comes after her for her misconduct in the documents case.

You're right about 1 and 2. You're even partially right about 3. Luckily, the justice system doesn't just let people testify whatever they want after taking a plea deal. As part of the plea deal they must make what is called " a proffer of testimony." They tell the D.A. what they will tslestify to before ever taking the stand. If they deviate from their proffer in any way, the plea deal goes away. The DA has all of the turncoats on a short leash.
