There are a lot of names being thrown around in the U.S. and often they are used without regard to their real meaning. I definitely stand against Trump's attacks on protestors. That is literally feeding fuel and oxygen to a raging fire and no good will come of it. I desperately want to see the U.S. raise competent leaders. The U.S. is getting stuck on values and morals, but without competent leaders, morals and values will quickly drop in quality as the nation fails due to antiquated trade and domestic policies. Over funding police and military when they are better off practicing policies to deter drug use and invest in forming better trade deals with nations abroad to cut crime and terrorism at the same time. There's a saying that when you stop sending goods across boards, guns cross boarders instead. I just want to hear less name calling, more nation building, and see American's recognize that the news was reporting a strong economy as American's turned to Trump to "Make America Great Again." If qualified U.S. Government officials will no longer be running for president because celebrities are outcampaigning them with their stashed millions, then American's better start recognizing the real reasons unqualified candidates are finding themselves rising to the top on the political spectrum. Name calling won president Trump's election. We need to stop with that name calling and focus on the real issues. The U.S. had a strong economy and it didn't make America great. Make America Noble, make America sincere, make America a place to send the sick, the tired, the old.

Rathwulven, Thank you for your concern. Be aware that the majority of us here are just as alarmed as you are and we have been since the 2016 election debacle. All of the western democracies should stay alert to the influence that Russia and China puts into our democratic elections. They have a vested interest in putting politicians up that will do damage and destruction to our countries and use misinformation and propaganda to get their favored candidates elected. None of us should ever become apathetic about our democracies. The U.S. made a huge mistake in letting such a candidate win. A lot of the problem here is our electoral college system in electing a president. It is absurd in that it allows a candidate that doesn't get the most votes to win the election. We know that Putin targeted strategic states with enough electoral college votes to get trump elected. Trump's campaign manager, Paul Manafort, directly supplied the Kremlin with the information needed to do that. We all need to stay alert and be informed voters.

Don't let this one get away with suicide in his bunker. Drag him out before the courts and try him for all of the crimes he's committed against his people

Pence is a Trump sycophant but I think that he will walk out voluntarily. I would love to see Trump forcefully dragged out of of there and then charged with trespassing on federal property afterwards.

@@auntiejen5376 No. He doesn't get to have the benefit of the doubt anymore and he doesn't deserve to have any excuses made for him like "oh, he's so insane he doesn't actually know what he's doing is wrong". He knows damn well *exactly* what he's doing, because he's doing the same thing he has always done even before being made president - his entire life he's surrounded himself with sycophants too afraid and/or greedy to ever say "no" to him or force him to face the consequences of his actions; literally the only difference is that now he's been given enough power to put a country at risk instead of just one of his business attempts. He's been cosying up to and praising autocratic governments since before the election and time and again throughout his term he's been shown that no one is going to make him face serious consequences (like prison) for anything he does. This is just one more step to the logical conclusion of those facts. Whatever mental illness he may have, he doesn't get to blame all this on it and the Republicans helping him have no excuses either. Both must be held accountable for everything they are doing for the sake of clinging to power - the sooner the better - and if that means that, come November and (what I sincerely hope to be) Biden's victory, someone has to drag Trump out of the White House kicking and screaming, so be it. Because he is absolutely *not* going to go quietly just based on the outcome of a vote.
