If you were to read the constitution and the Amendments, it is not a constitutional right. The 15th, 19th, and 24th Amendments only enforce that the government can not restrict voting of LEGAL citizens of the United States.

I worked at the polls here in central Indiana for my mother who was a precinct committee woman and it's impossible for anyone who is not registered to vote at a precinct if they are not registered and on the list to vote. We used to have people walk in who had recently moved into the precinct and we looked them up and if they were not on our list they could not vote - PERIOD.
I had several neighbors that use to be poll workers many years ago they were retired and my parents age. Anyway anothe formerr neighbor came in and tried to vote at that location. Two of the poll working neighbors told her she could not. They got into argument. I just happened to be voting myself. She had moved months before the election that wasn't her assigned location anymore becase she lived in different ward in city.
I am not a Trump fan buy any measure. Never voted for him either time. But I have lived in Indiana my entire life and I have never been asked for any form of ID. PERIOD. Can people vote that are not legally registered. Absolutely. PERIOD. I also personally know someone that has voted in different locations on the same ballot.
California routinely audits elections. I had to re-register 3 times snd needed a CA Drivers License, Passport, and notarized Birth Cettificate, as 2 of these 3 were required. I was a volunteer poll worker in my 20s. They check. They don't allow non residents, no undocumented immigrants, are allowed to vote. Obama doesn't decide who votes in CS, the California Registrar of Voters decides snd enforces that law.

It's actually scary. What are we going to do with these people? What CAN we do? What SHOULD we do? We can't lock them up just for being stupid and hate-filled. We just have to put up with morons walking around, influencing other morons and causing harm to others, both directly and indirectly. It's frustrating as hell. There's a psychological phenomenon (I can't remember the name) where people have such little talent in a particular area (for example, music) that they don't have the ability to assess their own talent - because making that assessment requires a basic level of skill. You have to have a good ear for music, for example, to be able to tell the good from the bad. So these people come to the conclusion that they're actually extremely talented. You see it all the time on talent shows. I sincerely believe the same must be true of intelligence. There are people out there so unintelligent that they don't even have enough smarts to KNOW that they're stupid. They don't know what intelligence looks like. It takes intelligence to differentiate clever from stupid. So these people walk around believing themselves to be smarter than everyone around them - especially all of the people who keep disagreeing with them and saying that they're wrong. I think that might explain Trump supporters. I've spent years trying to understand what must be going on in their heads that allows them to be so entirely divorced from reality, and this is the best explanation I've been able to come up with.

I've seen huge changes come about during that time, but one constant? Integrity of our voting process, rights being upheld and policies enforced. I check in voters, I've printed their correct ballots, I've helped those vote who were first timers up to those in their 80s and just confused, but I have never once gone against any rules, regulations or broken any laws, and found a deeper respect for our Democracy by doing this.
