There is a difference between "Hard hitting" and being RUDE. This reporter wouldn't let him finish a sentence! With the stack of "notes" she has, along with the unprofessional/rude interruptions, she still got schooled by President Trump

I hate trump and disagree with almost everything he says...but in this interview....when he talks about ending the "endless wars" and how silly it is we spend billions every year on these wars...he is 100% correct.

I’m a strong trump supporter, to me it sounded like she gave him a good chance to present his case, while asking the thought questions that the fake news media is throwing around, by asking these questions she’s giving him a chance to respond to them. And... responded he did, such a beautiful job Mr. president, answered clear and consistent every question without hesitation!

Loaded questions: Any blind Trump loyalists here commenting on “the interviewer” actually watch Face the Nation and Margaret Brennan since she took over for John Dickerson? Ever hear of FN or another little Sunday morning network TV institution called Meet the Press? Are you aware that both shows have been around for 60-70 years and are renowned for providing some of the most consistently relevant, fact-based, authoritative, truly balanced reporting and equal time panel discussions EVER on American politics? Yeah. That’s what I thought.

I read the comments below about the lady interviewing the president. I look at it this way, I support Trump, but I don’t mind the lady’s style because the show is called Face the Nation and you can tell she really is doing her homework and I don’t mind being tough. Rather than go after the lady, I much have to say, I like the way he’s handling himself with her. I want a tough president. He can handle himself very well and he did say to her, excuse me. There is one way to handle hard-hitting reporters, don’t get raddled and be str8 forward, keep your cool and answer the questions! If she interrupts, do what Trump did. Say, excuse me, and finish your answer. Quite frankly, I liked the question she asked about Roger Stone and would Trump pardon him. So, I would say, she’s tough and hard-hitting and he handled himself fine. If she questions everybody in the same style, both democrats and republicans, and this is the first time I every saw her, I would say, she’s tough but fair. What more could you ask for. The public needs to know and these politicians from either party need to know when you go on Face the Nation, you better be prepared and do your homework because they do theirs and it’s hard-hitting. I’m not going to throw her under the bus. She did her job. The only fair criticism I could say about her is, she could let him finish with his answer at times but don’t let the politician ramble on and start to give a speech. All in all, good interview!

As someone that almost never views or pays attention to MSM, I genuinely liked the quality of this interview and the reporter who is being a journalist. I want the facts. It was smooth and classy. CBS, I'm not your enemy, quit treating me as one.

Simple solution: Give guns and ammo to 50% of Kabul's adults, and let them handle on their own the Taliban and their internal feuds. It will be a lot cheaper and they alone will be responsible for their fate. With all the money sent to their government, the latter is responsible for reordering sufficient ammo.

IMHO...this was a "Mike Wallace" style interview, he used to...or probably still does...I don't watch MSM anymore...do that all the time. The higher the person, the more he'd cut them off, badger them, throw them off track. It doesn't work. Funny thing is...I don't think anyone did that to Obama.

You may be willing to risk our nation’s security on your hunches and “gut,” and your loyalest base may be willing to follow their Piper to the bitter end. But not me; you are not going to risk the welfare of my children on your real estate hunches, which led to multiple bankruptcies. Base: I get it; you’ve been ignored too long. But throwing the country off the cliff is not the answer.

Why didn't she ask him why the " GREAT DEAL MAKER" Isn't having MEXICO pay for the wall, like he promised all of us ! Too many interviewers are letting him skate on this.

The United States and its political system did segregate Native Americans, Mexicans or Latinos, black Americans and other groups. They have got the tactics so refined that the targeted minority group does not know that the major social institutions work in tandem to keep each of the respective groups in a social and economic vacuum. In other commentary I have mentioned that I have looked at the situation for about 30 years and my instinct led me to the work environment as the main institution that keeps people of color within the confines all what I have coined is a social and economic vacuum coupled with a concrete and asphalt floor. I would like the readers of the short commentary to take the time and find a blank piece of paper and a pencil. Then drawl one circle about the size of a quarter and then inside of that circle draw another smaller circle. Then find the center of the smaller circle and place the tip of the pencil and lay the pencil down. Now imagine the pencil as a corporate entity and the black lead is where most of people color are. Given that people of color within this type of corporate structure are at the bottom paid the least are destined to stay within the social and economic vacuum. I did survey from coast-to-coast border to border metro areas and found distinct and identifiable social and economic vacuums holding people of color. When I see people of color frustrated, angry and to the point of being hostile I understand, the white community understands. Thank you for reading.
