I watch Firebat pretty regularly and I gotta say, Firebat is easily the best HS player out of the group of people he plays with. Like, Zalae, Ike, and Crane are all good players, but Firebat has reads, instincts, and reasoning that just far outshines the rest of them. The man is really good at the game he plays.

Players like Firebat, who have other people in their headsets, just show how strong people like Kibler, Amaz, Toast and Trump all are. They are constantly doing this alone. And in cases like Toast, when he does have other people in the room, they are usually distracting more than helping.

It didn't. If you look closely you can see trump moving his lips while you can only hear firebat and crane talk because one side is getting muted at the appropriate times.

Really a testament to the quality of the deck that it can beat hunter even with a terrible curve, when the hunter curves perfectly. Also the editing was masterful. Would love more of these kinds of videos when they’re available. That is, when trump random queues into another streamer like that.

I don't think it would have mattered much if trump had healed for half the amount he did after that point. It was the righteous protector preventing 12 immediate damage that really mattered.

@@Goreblender This aint really "coaching", its more of a co-op, that REALLY helps to see 2 sides of the coin in alot of situations so ye, its pretty useful and i can see why it could be called "unfair", but its the same as saying that if you have a good player beside you while you play hearthstone, he has to remain mute x). Also, he wouldnt be doing this is casual, obviously, so the only reliable place to do this is in ladder

@@UnliVW nope, even professionals benefit from coaching. a second brain presenting different ideas helps you avoid things you may not have realized or gain insights you may not have had. if you really think it hurts, why don't you ask TOs if they'll allow the players to bring a friend to help them think of moves next time

Trump passed turn 1 and 2, but turn 3 onwards his hand was perfect Stonehill defender on 3 (giving Zilliax) Corpsetaker on 4 (healed 6, tanked 4) Pyro Equality on 5 to clear Call to arms on 6 Zilliax for the double heal on 7 Meanwhile, firebat had a decent turn 1 2 and 3, but his turn 4 5 and 6 were really slow due to lack of options Other than not killing that kangor (due to mistaken belief trump was otk), I'm not sure what else he could have done better when Trump's hand was almost perfect

Would’ve been better to have the call played on 5, and steed at any point of time would’ve put Trump in a strong lead. There are a lot of good cards he could’ve drawn, getting both call to arms and stonehill were the only two things you could call really “lucky”, everything else was sort of just the expected draw of the deck.

12:17 you didn't get really close, the moment kangor was left alive willingly you just straight lost. Paladin has so many ways to heal with kangor (Flash of light, zilliax, uther, shirvallah, true silver, spikeride steed, blessing of kings) that it's just such a terrible mistake to not kill it. I've been running a similar version of this deck since the expansion dropped (glad its finally picking up traction thank you trump) and I've won way too many times with it against aggro because people would rather push 4-6 damage to face and leave kangor up then to kill it and heal me for 2-4. Then you just follow that up with steed, zilliax, uther or shirvallah and its pretty much game over right there. Unless you have lethal on board, aggro should always prioritize killing/silencing kangor. Cannot believe these are legend players (or a world champ)
