Hi! Thanks for visiting the channel! In this video, i'll adress a Trumpeter HMS Valiant, one of the Queen Elizabeth-Class Battleships of the Royal Navy, in 1/700 scale.
The kit itself is very detailed, easy to build and has not very many parts, so it is definitely suitable for beginners; some PE parts and complex shapes are found on this ship, so advanced modellers will have fun and can experiment as well.
As for looks, the QE-Class is extremely gorgeous. However, my interpretation did not turn out that great, in my opinion. The deck and hull oil paint should have been done in another fashion. At least for the next time, i know.

These Trumpeter 1/700 ships are about as complicated as the 1/350 versions. Due to their small size I’ll probably steer clear due to the frustration factor but I got to admit, I’ve been tempted by the HMS Barham and Maryland 1945. Fun to watch someone else build though! Keep up the good work!

Maryland would have been an interesting pick! i've got around 9 different 1/700 trumpeter ships recently for a very low price, so there might be some more ill make videos about. Funny enough, i m building an USS Yorktown in 1/350 and it is exactly the same building process as the 1/700 USS Essex i already made a video on, its quite funny how they can translate the different scales so well and still make great details!

I've read below that you've got a few of the 1/700 Trumpeter ships so plenty to keep you busy, but if you get a chance it would be great to see you work on one of the Flyhawk 1/700 capital ships. They're a nice mix of single moulded superstructure pieces which simplifies construction and incredibly fine plastic parts that compare well with photoetch alternatives, particularly on things like anti-aircraft guns. Well over 600+ parts and that's just on the regular plastic versions rather than the deluxe sets which come with additional photoetch.

From Flyhawk, i have the HMS agincourt, and i have to say, i was not convinced. it was not the deluxe version, and i also haven't built it, but the part-count is not very high and it only has a waterline hull. For what they charge for those ships (i have paid 38 bucks for the agincourt), you get some bigger scale warships already, so i think i'll build this one before making promises of giving another flyhawk model a try! The detail on the plastic parts is great, though!

Hi Jerry! I use free music so i cant be too picky, but muting and playing songs you like in the background is probably the easiest way because the music in my videos is not related to the build
