Trusscore is transforming residential and commercial construction with products that combine sustainable materials with nanotechnology. Our PVC wall and ceiling panels are easy-to-install and high-performance replacements for traditional drywall and fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) panels.
Why does Bryan Baeumler, HGTV host and professional contractor, build with Trusscore?
• Helps control costs, saves time and produces a better finished product. Trusscore installs three times faster than existing alternatives, leading to labor and material savings.
• The product is an ideal drywall alternative and improvement for conventional and residential wall systems.
• Trusscore is a sustainability-focused company committed to leading research and development for advanced material science in the building materials industry.
Trusscore PVC panels are easy and quick to install due to their tongue and groove interlocking system. Trusscore products are highly durable yet lightweight due to their internal truss design. Trusscore wall board is waterproof paneling that is easy to clean and doesn’t support moisture, mold or mildew growth.

I was Involved with Royal Plasics 23 years ago producing a product very similar to this .. Royal had to abandon this because of the off gassing of this product and the Cancer causing chemicals...It to was PVC .....Has this been approved and found with zero off gassing ??? Or will we just find out later after NRC finds out it is not safe in homes

I was wondering about this. Since they now make low VOC luxury vinyl plank (which is mostly PVC) & it's quite competitive, I would think they could make this product low VOC, but idk...

I've been watching Trusscore videos for the last hour or so. To my way of thinking, the applications for this product in the residential space are limited to garages, and maybe mudrooms and dedicated laundry rooms. Even home gyms are a stretch. It is with great difficulty that I imagine homeowners wanting PVC walls in their living spaces.

You can look up the ratings for any construction material. This has a “Class A” fire rating that means it has a low flame spread among other things. You have to to compare to the same test results as drywall. To be approved for interior finishes, it hat to meet certain standards, which I am sure it’s tested for. Not to say that I want to use it myself.

How is the sound absorption compared to drywall?
@trusscore
@trusscore 6 месяцев назад
The acoustic performance of Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard is very similar to conventional products like drywall, with our panels demonstrating similar sound absorption and sound blocking performance as ½” and 5/8” drywall when installed on wall and ceiling assemblies: Sound absorption - or the Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) - is a measure of how much sound a material can absorb to reduce the amount of noise within a room. The NRC performance of Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard is estimated to be 0.15 (i.e., 15% of sound is absorbed), and drywall's performance is also 0.15. Sound blocking - or the Sound Transmission Class (STC) - is a measure of how well a material can block sound from passing through it into an adjacent space. A material’s STC reflects a sound’s decibel reduction from the space where the sound originates to the adjacent space. When installed on studs or joists, Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard has an estimated STC value of 30 to 35 (i.e., it reduces 30 to 35 decibels of sound), which is similar to the sound blocking performance of single-layer drywall.

Hi Gene, Lauren here from Trusscore! If you did have a project with a door framed 2 inches away from the corner, you would continue trimming out the space and installing panels the same way. Similar to any other building material, if you're looking for a seamless installation, you would remove and reinstall those fixtures (cabinets, sinks, doors, etc.). If your studs aren't 16" on center, we recommend a horizontal installation to avoid needing to strap out the space or purchase additional materials. Why do we need more plastic products in our homes? What are the VOC from product? Faster is not always better. Yes this product can be recycled but how many times and then what landfill. And let's be real at every construction site on a budget the last thing contractors are thinking of is recycling. I think when we use plastic we are thinking on a very limited time frame. Plus what's it's fire rating, noise rating, can you paint it... The world needs to move away from plastic if it wants to get away from oil (this coming from an Albertan). The more sustainable wood products used in a home technically could be called a form of carbon storage as long as it does not rot. Think about it.

Oh some panelling; there used to be that stuff when regulations for fire weren't around. Plus I can drywall 10 sheets an hour of average ten footers by myself; try doing a whole house with that stuff.Although the price of drywall installation and finishing in Ontario has been inflated on google because of large companies that pay people by the hour and rake in a ton of cash; I was charging 40 cents in Alberta per square foot and here they are saying a dollar seventy five or three for both jobs; that would be 40 times ten times 1.75 which would have me making seven hundred per hour with a helper and since I can do it alone; se can figure close to double if I'm just supplying the sheets and he screws. So either it was you guys that wrote the new prices for drywall installation or the big companies in order to get top dollar from government contracts.

Lot of these comments dont make sense. This stuff isn't water tight, it's that water will not destroy it like water does to drywall, when PVC panels are on a ceiling, water will still pass threw all seams unless one wants to putt calk on all over head seams, all seams are 16" apart so water will pass threw every 16'. Then people complain about PVC giving off gasses, but what about PVC thats in pluming that brings water in the house, plastic is all around the house, eat off it, drink out of it, TVs, la[tops, cellphones are all full of plastic with heated elements, etc......... Then some say drywall is faster, ha double HA, in their dreams!!! Perhaps they need to be reeducated in lifting a 1/2" x 4' x 8' sheet up to the ceiling on a wobbly step ladder, then mudding 6 times, sanding the nice fresh breathable fine dust 15 times, and then the most times the seams still show.......... Then some complain about seams in PVC panels, well what about seams in wood paneling, V-grove boards, etc........... Then some people complain about more plastic and PVC destroying the earth, but at the same time they WANT 10 billion more acres of solar panels added to the landscape. What happens when all those chemical loaded panels panels goes bad in 20 years....... The only valid comment here is, this Trusscore stuff is to freeken Boulder expensive and theres no freeken need of it!!!!!!!!!!!!
