That's some smart thinking by the lead singer to do just that. It helps make a song sound better regardless of if it's recorded in studio or performed live.
@Brian Peterson This is true. The bassist left the band not long after the first album came out, I think. Second record had one hit but then they fizzled out.
They’re currently writing more music, it all really stems from the idea that they really slowed down with releases, especially when they stepped out to do their own things
Excellent job on the screaming part. He sounds pretty damn close to the album version. You can tell his voice is a little strained but these guys knew how to rock. I miss the commercial that use to come on where they would advertise the hits of the year and this song would be on there.
Downfall has the greatest intro of all time period . I don't care what classic song u name it can't match downfalls perfect blend of heavy aggressive riffs and beautiful melodies , Trust Company was an amazing band criminally underrated , One of the best bands of the 21rst century
Salem Official it's pretty damn awesome. You need to expand your horizons a bit though. This song is ridiculously good, if kind of uninspired. I wish they had a guy to sing the harmonies. Especially on "Away" because that high note makes the whole song.
I been following these guys since 2002. Downfall is an awesome song and best one off the album imo. I like these older type of songs that we don't hear anymore. IE: Savage Garden "Black Hole Sun" and Vertical Horizon "Everything You Want". I wish these styles of music would return....
SOUNDGARDEN did Black Hole Sun.... Savage Garden was a pop band. LMAOOOO Honest mistake, I know but the idea of Soundgarden trying to play "I Want You" from the other group just makes me laaaaaaugh. That was great. Thanks dude. :D
These dudes just popped up on my Spotify! Haven’t listened to them in years! Yeah, I used to watch Conan back then just to see the bands playing. Now... not so much.
These guys are great. They're local to me. Our band has played a show with them and I try to catch them when they play around here. They're always solid. I've played a few cover shows with their drummer Jason and he's obscenely good. You become a better player on stage when he's playing!
this band is great trustcomany used to play my hometown of Pensacola I saw them in 04 my first show I was 14 ..my older brother has Mutual friends with all the members..
apples 88 😀 It is not only their best album but for me one of the best albums ever, period. Most of the fans seem to treasure ILAD more but although it’s good it doesn’t compare for me. I think they were too young to appreciate the debut. It’s a masterpiece, especially how it came together so quickly after the band formed.
Im disappointed, at 2:18 there should be a 2nd scream "CAN I BREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAK AWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY", from the main guitarist, but it wasnt. >:(
They missed a huge scream going into 2:17 . Should be like: "dddddddDDDDDOOOOWN, I BREAK AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" But dam, this song still hits! Pretty much sounds like the album.
