The music of this song gives me serious triumph vibes

I love this song, it just feels so genuinely different from all the other themes. Every other theme except Let's Just Live has a very similar music style, but I really like how upbeat this one feels in comparison.

My favorite part of this Op was Spoiler Penny's smile.

When they cycled through designs in the intro I got chill because i have been watching this show for literally half my life and it felt like I grew with these characters

Honestly, this has got to be one of my favorite intros in RWBY. I don't know how Jeff and Casey do it

You know it’s been now six years since I followed RWBY as a series. This openings already seeing the characters grow up and age the same age I am is so breathetaking. It’s like when a show that I follow does that to me it’s like I grow up with it. Seeing the new character designs was both nostalgic and make me realize oh my God, I’m a full grown young adult, while the main characters are all young adults like me now. This is my favorite intro it feels like a breathe of fresh air over how well this series progressed for me.

I’m really loving how whimsical this opening is! It reminds me of how the first two volumes of RWBY were.

They hyped up Volume 7 like no tomorrow and I have to say: the opening theme did not disappoint my expectations. Now, if you excuse, I've got an Eggman to bop to.

How are the lyrics of RWBY always so relatable? I started watching S4 just as my father died... RWBY helped me put that trauma in perspective. Now I'm dealing with people in growth phases that don't quite match mine and are bound to hurt and leave me no matter what I do, but at least are growing positively, so I'll "trust love". I love this show so much because it's always spoken to my current pains.

This is my favorite intro, hands down Just by this I can tell that Volume 7 is going to be my favorite volume!

Trust love: "Always hoping that a lightning bolt will save you from this gravity" Given that the first two lightning references are to the party, i think the person hoping for lightning to save them is ironwood if he wasn't so fucking deep inside his metal ass

I love how this song is an inverse version of 'This Will Be the Day.' The first opening talks about rising and achieving your dreams while this one says that the day they waited for won't come, but the will still will be able to achieve what matters most if they trust love and believe in themselves, and even going as far to say that just believing alone is all that is needed for them to have a good life. This show has come so far, and I look forward to seeing what other meanings 'Trust Love/Open Up Your eyes' has for the volume!

The first episode made me cry happy tears!!!!!😭😭 Whatever you do, DO NOT watch the opening video before the first episode! Also what do you think about the new character designs? Personally I think Nora looks cute, yang doesn't seem too different from just a new fire dress, and I can always appreciate them thighs of Blakes. But besides from that, not the biggest fan of the new designs.

So between "But in time through love your power will shine" and "when we trust in love and we opwn up our eyes" this whole love thing is in reference to silver eyes right? As well it talks about a "romantic life" and a "world full of charm" well we've heard that imagery in This Will Be The Day (I don't remember if that's its name or not) "You want a romantic life, a fairytale that's full of charm" which was how Ruby saw the life of a huntsman (romanticised as a great hero to conquer the evil), but now she's living as a huntress and she knows it's not like that. As well we hear about "Hoping that a lightning bolt, is gonna save you from this gravity" well again in This Will Be The Day they proclaim that "We are lightning" so is this a slight at the rest of the civillians that are just waiting for someone to rescue them instead of rising up? I dunno that's just what I came up with while listening to it on repeat haha

I remember watching my first RWBY episode in the 6th grade, back then only Volumes 1 and 2 were out. Now I’m a senior in Highschool freaking out about the second episode of Volume 7. RWBY has really helped mold my life; the lyrics of literally any song from this show’s amazing discography have either some sentimental value to me or have helped me through hard times I’ve faced while growing up. (Specifically Armed and Ready 👉🏾👈🏾I’m a Yang fangirl I can’t help it) I want to thank you Flynt, for being there as well so I could easily access songs before the official soundtracks came out and so I could clarify the lyrics. You’re an important part of RWBY fan culture, and I hope you’re proud of that!

The word "shines!" was never looked at the same way after November 2nd... Anyway, despite understanding why "Trust Love" would be a great title, I do kinda wish "Open Your/Our Eyes" would beat it out, quite simply because I feel it fits with Ruby way better. I'm an easy-to-please man.

I love how every opening song is usually a metaphor or symbol of the season.

This is possibly the best rwby intro yet, and the first ep of the volume looks promising too.

The “moving towards the light” part always makes me smile; there’s something about it that’s just audio bliss for me.

I’ve been thinking about the line *right now your hopes are shattered* and it show Ironwood after firing a bullet and looking sad, before the most recent episode, the one that only members can watch right now, I thought that line with that visual was too signify Ironwoods actions in what he did by closing Atlus’s borders and putting the embargo on and Mantale not supporting him. But now after this episode *FROM HERE THERE WILL BE SPOILERS!!! SO DO NOT CONTINUE READING IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED CHAPTER 11!* But now I think the line with the visual signifies Ironwood loosing his trust in team RWBY, JNR, Qrow, and maybe the Ace Opps. Because of the glass queen chess piece that Neo placed in Ironwoods officials, as well as what Salem told all present in Ironwood’s official, as well as the fact that team RWBY did not tell him that Salem can’t be killed till like 3 chapters ago AND Blake and Yang telling Robbin about Amity Arena. Also, *HOLY SHIT!!!! SUMMER WENT AFTER SALEM ON HER OWN!!!* So that Qrow accidentally killing Summer theory might not hold anymore relevance, but who knows.
