"Burn it down, from the dust till the dawn, rise from the ash and then I'm gooone..." From Dust till Dawn. RWBY didn't come out until after season 10 at least. 5TH WALL!!!
+X4Xanthos I didn't notice until I saw some of Monty's other work, but the falling scene is pretty much directly copied from part of Dead Fantasy, right down to the positions the freelancers dive off the buildings in
TFABumblebee22 WC no its me: So, jetpacks.. mh *Tex puts the jetpack on the case and jumps out of the Pelican* Me: (very quitely) er (back to normal) that was interesting.....
Does no one find it weird that Casey Lee Williams was 12 when this came out, and probably 11 when she recorded this? And who else thinks this gained a bit of inspiration from Bombs Over Baghdad by OutKast?
Lyrics: Falling toward the sky Waiting for my.....ride Insane breakneck pace No brakes full speed ahead on this chase Goons-nippin at my heels Move my wheels cuz I'm not tryin to get killed Ooh-what I'm gonna do? Me and the crew-one false move-we through Stress level high it's a full court press Can't guess wrong the result is death Adrenaline filled like a kid named Ritalin Gotta get away from this bullshit middleman Pushed to the max no time to relax Cuz if we ain't swift we facin the axe But I ain't tryin to hear it-float like a spirit Finish line comin, I feel us gettin near it Can't stop now , yo, we almost there Unaware of what awaits us in the air Falling toward the sky Waiting for my.....ride Landin safe on the back of the truck Now we ride through the streets talk about good luck Man that was tough, jumpin off the building But if we didn't do it then our time was up Never that though I'm just too swift Blessed with a gift that flows from my lips Still represent still talkin that shit Still hit your chest like a blast from the fifth Ain't no stopping I'm-a keep it poppin Rollin rockin pure hip-hoppin Soul like Rakim you know I got plenty I'm a C note, dog, and you're more like a penny Jeff sent the text, asked for the best So I stepped right in put flames to the test Burn it down from dusk til dawn Rise from the ash and then I'm gone Falling toward the sky Waiting for my.....ride (Music to Guitar solo) Falling toward the sky Waiting for my.....ride
Seasons 9 and 10 were tough to love when the freelancers weren't on screen...but when they were? Nothing in the series had been so epic before, and I daresay, nothing else has been as epic since.
Someone might've mentioned this years ago, but the chorus lyrics sound like they should say "waiting for my death", but as demonstrated several times in this episode, everybody gets caught by some sorta ride at the last second, so instead the lyrics are like "waiting for my... ride???"
I don't know why I love this xD This is hip hop, actually takes TALENT to write something like this. Hey Kanye West, 50 Cent, Lupe Fiasco, and all you other washed up "artists" This is how you make hip hop.
i watch all of the seasons every weekened. i still am amazed. next week all my and my friends gonnna watch it on MY FLAT SCREEN. THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...float like a spirit. Finish line comin' I feel us gettin near it. Cant stop now, yo, we're almost there. Unaware, of what awaits us in the air. Landin safe on the back of the truck, now we ride through the streets, talk about good luck. man that was tough, jumpin off the building, but if we didn't do it then our time was up. Never that, though, I'm just too swift. Blessed with the gift that flows from my lips. Still represent, still talkin that shit...
How did Jeff make so much amazing music, and it's all thematically so weird if you take it out of context, yet it's still good. Is this man a musical god of some sort?
...still hit your chest like a blast from the fifth. Aint no stoppin, ima keep it poppin, rollin, rockin, pure hip hoppin. Soul like Rakim you know I got plenty, I'm a c-note dog and your more like a penny. Jeff sent the text, asked for the best so I stepped right in, put the flames to the test. Burn it down from dusk till dawn, rise from the ash and then I'm gone!
I'd agree, but watching it all in one shot proves you have a day off, not that you have no life...if you were to rewatch it EVERYDAY, then you truly are going a bit far...
This an awesome redo of Ice Fight...love that song perfect for the Tex/Maine/Wash battle and now an awesome intro for the Tex/Maine/Carolina/Baddies chase
I do realize this, but given today's society there will be at least one or two people that truly do spend an entire day just watching a single series. Those are the people we must be wary of. Regardless, yes I knew it was an exaggeration.
dude rvb makes my day all the time. i have friends and a life. parties and shit. though i love being aolne at night cause i can just Watch these guy and feel like im part of them.
