Flyeo Fundamentals: Trust your Harness
All of the fundamentals are about undoing natural instincts that are useful on the ground but a hinderance when we're flying.
By learning back into the harness we are increasing our base of support and are less likely to lose our balance and make involuntary brake inputs.

Excellent advice! This explains a great tip I was given on my last SIV. If you cross your legs at the ankle and then tuck your feet under, then push your knees wide apart, your feet are locked together and you become rock-solid in your harness. This was perfect for stall practice, my first few stalls were awful because my arms and legs were flailing everywhere. But with this body position keeping me all tucked up tight like a connonball, it was a lot easier to disassociate my arms and the rest of the stalls were waaaayy better and I even got to enjoy a nice long backfly or 2.

That bit about bending the legs is great info. I would never have guess that would be a good response. Thanks

Great explanations, showing how our body position can affect aerodynamics when we are flying. Thanks for uploading. Keep up the go work 🙏👍🏻

Awesome video!! as people in china might not able to access RU-vid, may I translate this into Chinese and reupload to some Chinese video platforms? I'll definitely leave the original video link and the author name :)

I may have something wrong, if I'm spinning on my office chair with my legs extended, THEN tuck them in, I spin faster, if I do that in my harness could that increase the risk of twists?
@AndreBandarra1

You got it right in the sense that you spin faster with legs tucked in. That’s a good thing because normally what happens is your wing spins and you get left behind because of inertia. So if you lower your rotational inertial you will spin together with the wing easier and not get twisted
