AWB definitely brought the Soul and Funk and A lot of that was because of what Steve delivered on the drums!!!! A Very unique drummer indeed! Thank you once again Scott! ✌🏾💪🏾✊🏿🎵

Thank you so much for the illuminating interview, Mr. Goldfine. In addition to being such a talented, in-demand drummer, Steve Ferrone is a class act--very down-to-earth, humble, and affable! AWB's "Soul Searching" is my all-time favorite album of the group. I think that it really showcased the band's unmistakable gift for strong grooves, solid songwriting, and undeniable funk. Mr. Ferrone was indeed instrumental in establishing their signature sound. I didn't know that he played on the great Pat Metheny's classic "Secret Story" album--another favorite of mine. I wish I knew which song that he said had the complicated bridge. It was a title that eluded him, he said. I'll look forward to re-listening to the songs on which he played from that session. Again, thank you so much for your customary top-notch interview. We appreciate you and the multi-talented Mr. Steve Ferrone. His insights about music were priceless! Blessings to both of you and to the members of the exceptional AWB.

I loved his drumming on Al Jarreau’s “ L Is For Lover” album and Duran Duran’s “ Notorious” single/ album! Great session drummer for sure!!! He also played on Rick James “ Glow “ album too!!! Too many to mention lol!!!😊

Wow, i didn't know he played Glow! My suprise act is his playing on the "Chic" type song "Think too much" on Paul Simon's "hearts bones" . Ferrone, Nile & Bernie together!!!!! (Tony was on vacation, maybe?)
