Dear mizz Divine, Thank you for getting in touch and my apologies for a late response. British pensions are usually good at reinstating stopped pensions but that said I've had some problems myself recently. Now, at the top of hubby's last statement you will see an e mail address for Brit pensions dept so you can e mail them. Also you should see a reference number which you must quote in the e mail or message. IF. You have failed to send your life certificate correctly and on time they will stop your pension. I'm only guessing this is what has happened in which case you may not have received that letter ,,-- maybe they do not have your correct postal address. So you must email them and inform them your pension has been stopped with the dates. You can send a picture of your ID and possibly have the picture notorized for authenticity. If you have access to a fixed line phone do call the phone number on his last statement. You will need plenty of load for a call from a cel phone p500/p600. Other possibilities are you have not given correct address. You have not told them you are in the Philippines You are. recent arrival and they are still sending the pension elsewhere and to another bank. I was reminded of the movie "2001; A space Odyssey" when Dave and Frank were in one of the pods discussing if HAL could be trusted and they should shut HAL down. Been making my own apple cider vinegar got a big half gallon jug of honey from Bohol always keep some lemons have to try that wondered about this honey but still looks like it did 4 months ago so I'm hoping thats a good sign I let it sit couple months thinking price was too good to be true thinking if its fake it would separate or something settle in the bottom but no looks good

I find it interesting that you would be acutely aware of the dishonest nature of some of the politicians here in the US (probably the overwhelming majority of them). I know that things that happen in the United States usually have a large effect on the rest of the world, but I’m just frequently surprised at how much people in the Philippines know about our politics. Frankly, your country (the Philippines) knows more overall about our politics than at least half of the people who live here, which is pretty sad. Anyway, the political side that is currently led by Joe Biden or Kamala Harris (officially) lie every day as a matter of policy, so Harris’ choice for her Vice-Presidential running mate doesn’t surprise me a bit. He’s been caught in at least a half-dozen huge lies just since he was named as Harris’ running mate, so of course, he fits right in. Incidentally (or more on-topic, I guess), I enjoyed the video! I know that the Philippines has been hard-hit by inflation and the terrible economy too, but I’m still quite amazed at the relative affordability of living there. Obviously, if the normal income there is less than 10,000 pesos a month, it makes a difference (wow… it’s hard for me to even imagine that), but I can certainly understand why so many foreigners retire there. It’s such a beautiful country! With an honest government, a little investment and a lot of hard work, it really could be a paradise. By the way, the lessening of the amount of rice you are able to buy for the same amount of money is commonly known here as “shrinkflation.” I just thought you might find that interesting. 😁
"Shrinkflation" I like it! What happens in the US really does affect the rest of the world. I went to America with great hopes but somehow it wasn't a good fit for me -- I'm British by birth. Sadly integrity is a thing of the past in our leadership wherever you go, I dread to think the tr-ans disaster will make it's way here, though the Philippines has lived quietly with it for years in the form of Tomboys and Lady boys. I see that a teacher in Ireland has been arrested and imprisoned for his refusal to endorse the trans mythology. While Senator John Kennedy in Congressional hearings reads from books of hardcore porn available to children in school libraries, Americans write to me saying I am disseminating fake information. You're right, here I am 85 years old, and what do I have to show for it.! Well I have a lovely house and am building an inland resort. I drive a Ford Raptor and ride a Yamaha sports bike -- all paid for. I've been happily married to a lovely lady for ten years. We are DEBT FREE and can live modestly on my pensions from the US and the UK and other income without working too hard. We do not have a mortgage nor do we even own a credit card. Where oh where did I go wrong?.
@@AForeignerinthePhilippines I have known about the d33p st@te for 50 years, but when I tell people about some of the details, their eyes glaze over. They'd rather talk about sports, Netflix, or some other stupor topics. They have nobody to blame but themselves, but I know they will say, "Why didn't someone warn us!".
