Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Truth Nuggets. We continue with our series on changing the way you think.
The Apostle Paul says in:
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.
We do not fight the devil with our flesh, we need to understand that the battle is in our minds. Wrong thoughts about God and wrong thoughts about life, that is how the enemy can control you. Wrong thinking produces negative emotions and produces unhealthy behaviour.
What we think shapes who we are and our lives are moving in the direction of our strongest thought.
Be aware of your thinking. Paul teaches us to take every thought captive. You can do that by challenging your thoughts and see if it lines up with the Truth of God’s Word. The more you grow in the Word, the more you recognise the lies you have come to believe.
