TRX4M Monster Truck?! Furitek Rampart Build - FCX24 Smasher & Traxxas TRX4M MT Kits!

In this video I build two new mini RC monster trucks! I build a Traxxas TRX4M monster truck out of spare parts using Furitek's Rampart kit! I also upgrade our FMS FCX24 Smasher monster truck with the aluminum Furitek Rampart kit plus add in the Furitek mini Godzilla motor/transmission combo for HUGE brushless power!

Next time, try the Jconcepts renegades with the tribute wheels on the Smasher. I have the smasher, so I have to pick the smasher but TRX4MMT looks sick. Tough decision 😂

This actually gave me a little of an idea how my TRX4M build might turn out. I want to use the Injora Pro motor, high speed gears, monster truck tires and Warthog chassis. Low n fast.

Great video. Furiteks monster truck wheels and rims don't look too shabby from what I've seen of them. On the transmission, the shaft that shifts gears, mine had groves in it for mini C clamps can fit. I just pushed my drive all the way in, and C clamped the shaft behind the Low gear. That way it's locked in high. And removing that servo gives a Lil bit more room.

Something i just seen before u put the body on. When u said the big battery wouldn't fit. Turn the truck upside-down slide the battery in on the bottom side of the battery tray then strap it in with the straps. That should make it so u can run the battery that u wanted and still allow the body to fit

None of those is good enough for me to buy. I like metal open diff on the smasher but I hate portals axles for MT... And TR4M is great for axles, but locked diff and plastic is not good either. So wich one will offer the right option first ? Open metal diff on traxxas or straight axles for Fms? You can all say that we also have the axial scx24 version, but worm gears ? Please... Wich compagny will put some balls out and make proper axles and transmission for those mini MT, we need it

I might try an extra FCX24 smasher body on it to see if it lines up. With some magnets I bet you could get a 1/24 or 1/18 truck body on there

The rampart for the smasher I had to pinch chassis sides to meet the skid then put screws in .I was disappointed that the skid seemed not wide enough.

Admittedly I have only tried the FMS and Injora tires. I would like to try the Mofo and the furitek tires. I’ve heard good things about both. I prefer the FMS out of the two I’ve encountered though

Just comparing apples and oranges a bit but which car do you prefer? As a first time buyer of any small RC, I want either the max smasher or the traxxas, but cannot make up my mind. Also what are the wheels and tyres on the trx4m please ? Great video. Keep up the good work 👍

For a monster truck, I like the Smasher. If you could get open diffs in the Traxxas to improve the handling, that would be a game changer. But being able to put that mini Godzilla motor in the smasher and the handling characteristics make it the clear winner for me. Here are the tires: amzn.to/3NRKgOH

My rampart chassis for trx4 m came with black carbon dust all in the cut outs .took a lot of cleaning ,and kinda made me uncomfortable.

That's disappointing. That combined with your fitment issues makes it sound like you got a faulty kit. I would try submitting a support ticket with Furitek. I find their customer service to be really good.
