Bunny Chow is one of my favorite foods. It is a curry not a stew (I don't care what anyone says, there is a difference. Especially when you grow up eating it.) and can be filled with a variety of different type of curries (Chicken, Sugar Bean, Lamb, Seafood, etc...). Just depends what your taste buds feel like.
That has to be the most saddest Bunny Chow I've ever seen. The bread should have been drenched in gravy and the bread should have been a traditional white loaf hollowed out. WTF!
😂 that was not a bunny chow as an Indian South African.... nooooo it doesn't and never will contain a stew of meat 😂... it's either chicken, mutton, beef or beans curry in the bunny chow 😅 with a side of green chillies and carrot salad 👌

As much as I love PvF, the food has not been as good (it’s been criticized more) since Michael became the new head chef. I preferred Ash as head chef 😔
lol that was not a bunny chow 😅 firstly in an authentic one from Durban (where the dish originates) there would never be chickpeas, it would be a meat/beans curry with potatoes only serveds with a carrot salad with fresh green chillies and secondly it would be served in a half/quarted unsliced loaf hollowed out and the 'bread guts' used to soak up that gravy 😋 Perhaps a South African street food episode? Better researched of course😊

Real bunny chow is served in a hollowed out half loaf of bread, stuffed with delicious Durban curry absolutely dripping in sauce. Then you stack all the hollowed out bread on top for dipping. Yummy. Interesting try though.

Bunny chow as depicted in this video is actually called trencher bread used to be a feast of midieval era ,and it was shared among less privileged, as a token of their appreciation for good harvest,i guess eerily, it resembles that ,looks exactly the same but may be the filings are made accordance to these times ,still heart warming and sweet
Hi, I have been watching these videos to help with my ED ever since I was 19, i’m 24 now and I still watch to help. I just wanted to say this is the first video I watched without eating and I feel a little healed. I will always remember what joy this channel has brought me and now I can watch these videos without feeling like I have to eat. Language and culture travels. For instance I’m American and we still use the Spanish words tortillas and guacamole and queso. Because language edition travels. It doesn’t make someone wrong when they serve it in a different way, especially if someone from that culture told him how to prepare it because everyone does things differently. No one better walk in my house and tell me I’m making my guacamole wrong. Why? Because it’s how we like it. And we’ve been served Tex-Mex our whole lives and not authentic Mexican food so it’s what we are used to
I've been South African, lived in South Africa, just generally done South African stuff for 26 years now... Never seen a football shaped bunny chow. We'll call it Creativity I guess👍
