2:00 - That joke began with the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster in 1986 when it exploded after launch on the way up (saw it live on TV in school). Christie McAuliffe flew on it. She wasn't an astronaut, she was a school teacher. Many jokes came from that incident -- humor is a way to deal with grief and shock. The joke went: "What color eyes did Christie McAuliffe have? Blue. One blew left, one blew right." Another was: "What's the last thing heard over the space shuttle [challenger] radio? Christie, don't touch that!"

I was in 11th grade when that happened, there were like a 100 jokes the next day. What was Christie McAuliffes last words... and then 10 different jokes " and what does this button do" " Ok, my turn to drive" etc etc.
