I just found you RU-vid channel and I love these 10 minute paintings! Can you explain how you choose your focal point? Also what was the crayon you used was is a pastel? Thanks for the videos can’t wait to try this!
Hi Jessica! The crayons are called Neocolor II and they’re made by Caran Dache. For focal points, that takes a lot of practice. But, some basic composition tips are to choose an off center point on your page, use a large element surrounded by smaller ones, or use complementary colors (like blue/orange or red/green) or darks and lights next to each other to draw attention to your focal area.
