No one is natural at boxing. Boxing is not a natural talent. It’s a trained talent. I’m well coordinated. But, I had to learn how to move-when to move-and how to throw punches while shifting my weight. It’s train, train, train until you get it down pack. It’s not easy at all. Nor do it come at a quick pace. It’s time consuming and extremely exhausting. Because, of this, only the strongest succeed. And, most beginners quit. It’s no different than trying to lose weight and you’re not used to working out. Therefore, you get burned out. And, you don’t see any results early on that would keep you motivated. So, you give up.

@@leonnottingham4618so true. This pad work drill is not used enough. It's great muscle memory for the body and mind. Helps to feel the opponents rythm better. Conor uses this type of striking practice, less contanct but more movement and shot placement. Maybe that's why his such a good precision counter boxer.

Very true but he is setting the foundation to act and re-act for when that pressure is applied. A real fight is the only thing that will reveal if his training will transfer.

You can't reach the ring or do all this if you don't first of all practice it thousands times, then drills like couple drills then sparing light to be able to put it all together then make it seem as natural reflexes...then you can enter the ring

These days, popularity is a big factor as well, there's a bunch of people on here who would watch him in an actual fight because of this video.
