11:00 I can confirm that plant based 'meat' is pretty pricey here in America too especially the good stuff like Beyond Meat and Impossible Burgers, probably because it's still a relatively new thing and they've yet to find cheaper and more efficient ways to manufacture it
@pinkmonkeybird2644
@pinkmonkeybird2644 Год назад
Same here. I think you are correct, those vegan meat products are pretty new and are quite expensive because only a few companies make them. I like them well enough, but I try to avoid plant-based products masquerading as meat because of the cost, but I’ll splurge if we have a cookout or something. I still prefer to cook dishes that have always been meatless (I’m not a vegan), so I do make a lot of Indian food. I am lucky to have several Indian/Nepalese markets near me, but they don’t have the variety of convenience food like DancingBacons shows here. I’d love to try some.

Indian convenience food is so good. I've been getting butter chicken in a can and having it with basmati rice lately... a meal ready in just a few minutes.

Visit an authentic Indian restaurant, even Indians themselves hate packaged food. Packaged food will never compare to the true hot Indian food.

Plant based 'meats' here are insanely expensive. It's almost $10-$12 just for 4 links of sausage...where if you get the actual beef ones from Johnsonville you get 6 links of 'em for $4. But I do got to say, the plant based wonton wrappers, eggroll wrappers, and things like that are AMAZING! They are so tender when cooked for pot stickers, eggrolls, or dumplings. So tasty!

Why eat plant based meats when theres an entire world of just vegetarian dishes that taste infinitely better
@GothicPhantomZero

@@tilakgupta9293 That may be true, but that's just as pricey. You either make it yourself or well travel to a place that has it. And even in the end that might be cheaper...haha!

Next time you buy halwa, heat it up 45 seconds first and you will definitely finish it at one go 😅

Hi there just a small tip for the amla ( Indian Goose berry ) your supposed to mix it with water till it's sweet enough for your taste and it is also used to beat the heat. Love your channel ❤

It’s not Amla juice.. it’s shehtoot.. Mulberry. Amla is gooseberry.
