In addition to seeing all the great food you get to eat, and how friendly you are to everyone, another thing I really like about this channel is getting to see a lot of places across the ocean I'm unlikely to see any time soon. Cities, towns, snippets of the countryside, it all seems so drastically different than here it's like taking a little virtual vacation and soaking in some stuff!

When I scroll down I read a lot of kind comments from supporters of Dany (as I am) and then there are quite a few really bitchy comments about the food etc. What they do not understand is that the places Danny visits have been recommended to him by the viewers so it not his fault if the food isn't to everyone taste. Danny reviews on what he likes, if its hot, flavourful and VFM then he's happy to give a 9 or a 10. One comment is that this isnt real Chinese food. OK it isnt but we are not in China, believe me I have been to China on business at least a dozen times and the food there is regularly not to our flavour, In fact I didn't like it that much apart from Shanghai which is getting more like London by the day. My point is that its not Dannys fault if YOU do not like what you see. Just sit back and relax and enjoy Dannys banter, If you do not then just dont watch.
Well said Paul and I couldn't agree more with you. Danny is trying out these places on our behalf and rating the food as he sees it in order to give us an honest opinion on the food served there. He does an excellent job and if you don't like it then don't watch it. Some people are not happy unless they are moaning.
Danny politely talking to that fly highlights just what a kind, top bloke he is....... ......then it made the mistake of going for his food! never mistake kindness for weakness, food is sacred xD

I hope your cameraman is wearing a Rate My Takeaway branded top/t-shirt, with a RU-vid link, to direct new viewers to these videos. Having that emblazoned on his back when doing these is economical marketing because they shouldn't cost too much to have made.

Been living in Hong Kong for a decade and i haven't seen Leeds market in donkey years, bring back the memories! And if anyone saying that ain't Chinese food, it's British Chinese food, get over it. We still get dishes with chips in our lunch in Hong Kong, so it ain't that far-fetched!

If you like the non-plastic containers, why are you keeping the plastic ones in your cupboard? I would think you would throw them in the trash. At least the plastic ones can be used to store other foods. The non-plastic cardboard containers have to be thrown away.

I just want everyone to know that I just made Toad in the Hole in Danny’s honour for me and my English-born father-in-law, who just got out of the hospital yesterday after having emergency surgery last week. He mentioned watching one of the videos featuring Yorkshire pudding and he wanted some, so we stopped on the way back from Ottawa and found some bangers at Farm Boy. Now he’s back on the deck having a smoke and listening to country music videos on RU-vid (with a smattering of Elvis). Excuse me but I’ve got to get it in my gob. I’ve got a feeling I’m going to give myself a 10.
Alright who gave/or uploaded the wrong tape? I have waited until 12 midnight to watch the eating of and results of the score for CHOP CHOP, normally I see the results in the early hours of the morning - I need my Danny fix to start the day. Perhaps the beef was cooked with Honey/Soy/Chillie which would give it the sweetness and the little but of bite Danny said he tasted. 🇦🇺🇦🇺😷😷🇦🇺🇦🇺
Nice guy, honest reviews been watching since 32k … but getting a bit tired of same formula, and same ok’ high st takeaways needs to change it up a bit. maybe try some home cooked food on FB on offer?
It’s how I decide if I’ll eat at a place or not. If they’re enthusiastic with their response the chances are you’re gonna get some quality food, if they don’t seem bothered I’ll just get a bag of crisps and a can of coke 🤣
