Personally, all of these either absurd or dangerous "beautifying" products that existed just reflects how the society pressures women to always look "beautiful" where to they expect them to reach this "beauty standards" that they created that appears to be impossible. Especially in the 90's. All of these marketing strategy solely focus on women. Like why do they need to have a straight nose? Why do women are expected to look younger than they actually are? Why do these advertisements make women feel that they constantly need to "improve" the way they look just to fit this mold that the patriarchal society created? Nonetheless, I am really glad that the world is learning now. Have a bless day to all of my fellow jollybeans!
