You guys might've accidentally made a top secret coke recipe lol So during WW2 coke was hella popular and boosted soldiers morales. And during this time, Dwight Eisenhower and Georgy Zhukov happened to meet; and Dwight gave Zhukov a bottle of coke and he loved it! Now Zhukov is craving some coke in Russia but coke is banned in Russia after ww2 as it is seen as a symbol of American imperialism. So he calls up his buddy Dwight Eisenhower if he can do something. Eisenhower calls up the Coca Cola company and their top chemists get to work taking the artificial black coloring out of the drink and making a clear coke. It's packaged in unlabeled clear glass bottles with a white cap marked with a red star. 50 containers of this clear coke was shipped to Russia for Zhukov and supposedly other high ranking generals.

Between Ollie's scientific curiosity and Josh's pouring skill, a single scientist is born. He is then immediately bestowed diabetes.

A note on Coca leaf, Cocaine and Coca-Cola: Coca leaf is a natural product that is grown and used all over South America. It does give you a boost of energy. Cocaine is made from Coca leaf but the difference between chewing on coca leaf and taking cocaine is like the difference between drinking coffee and drinking 100% pure caffeine. Coca-Cola still to this day uses Coca leaf extract (cocaine removed).

I love how casual Ollie is when purchasing expensive stuff just to do things that are not normally done by "normal boring people" and on a day-to-day basis. We all need a friend like him.

Now I realize Ollie might do some dumb stuff but he has such a quick response when they are in trouble. On the other hand, Josh does not do that much of silly stuff but he is the slowest on taking action when they are in trouble.

It’s 1ml of a c2.5l sugar mix, which in turn is then diluted by 5x. Based on the measuring jug, it looked like roughly 500ml of the botanical mix. So that means that it would make approximately 6,250 litres of coke. A can of coke is 250ml (in the U.K. - because of sugar tax). So that’s 25,000 cans of coke. Assuming a can of coke is £1 (it’s slightly more in reality). If you could shift enough weight, which with the added cocaine you definitely wouldn’t struggle, then you could make a tidy profit.

I feel like ollie would be a controversial person or would be mentioned in history books if he lived in the 18th century. his mind is unique. Kudos to Ollie's brain for working hard on coming up with Jolly Eps ideas.

I'm fully expecting Ollie making all of those 5 litres of Coke out of the remaining sugar solution. When Juno grows up she's gonna have epic memories of how her dad once made homemade Cola and made them all try it 😂 I really hoped they would call in sbd from the family to have a blind taste test after they tried both Cokes. The only downfall is probably that the original Coke is more fizzy so people will be able to tell right away which is the real one. And I also wish they would colour it somehow, maybe with a brown/caramel food colouring?

Neroli EO smells delicious. Like Oranges. Yes, it is extremely expensive but one drop is all you need in a formula. It is used in Aromatherapy as are the other EO's you've shown.

Fun fact, the inventor of Coke tried the recipe more thatn 70 times until finally achieving the flavour, he worked on an improvised lab on a bar writing every experiment, the legend says that the 1st owner of Coke approached the inventor of coke's family during his own funeral, he offered them 300 dollars and they accepted it for the selling of Coca-Cola, if they didn't accept it his family would be one of the most powerful in the world today, all for 300 dollars.

No wonder coke tastes just like caramel - it pretty much is. Also, to not use expensive oils in super small emounts, you can use less concentrated cheaper infusions of same things - like syroups, liquors, just water infusions

This made me realize why clear coke made so much sense. It's literally just coke minus the caramel coloring, so coke with less steps.

The coloring literally comes from additional caramel & food coloring to give it that blackish tint. Carbonated water & phosphoric acid gives it all that fizz.

So that's why Coke is literally called Coke.
