I do not disagree with you. It is expensive as heck and you must pay for the premium to really have a fighting chance to get anywhere. I spent alot of $ on eH over the years with limited success. However, it is hard for me to totally bash eH b/c I met a female on eH and she became my GF for 10 months. I know many may be saying big deal, but Nick you know how hard it is out there! So I am very very relucant to rejoin and would shy away, but one solid success over a long period of time is hard to begrudge b/c it is dreadful out there. BTW females are charged much much less than male for premium. I know someone who works there and this is a dirty little secret.
Tbf, Eharmony markets itself moreso as a marriage app, not a dating app. Its not for young people, its for old people who can afford to get married. The price is to ween out non-committed users, and the exhausting test is to ween out people who aren't interested in personality. I don't think harmony was your demographic, but considering the marriage numbers they boast, there HAS to be a reason why they've been so successful in arranging marriages these past few decades.
I can't disagree, it's totally catered to a different demographic. I had paid for the site once before, and sure it had a few people in my age range (20-30) but that only had a dozen people.
I agree with everything in this video it is the worst website I have used weather is very little profiles and I had mindset to three provinces I am from Prince Edward Island Canada and I'd like to say beware of the auto subscription got screwed out of 705 CAD when I contacted customer support because this was too much on my Visa card they said there was nothing they could do so if you are a paid member click cancel subscription you won't lose what you've already paid for you'll just cancel auto subscription for the following year
You cant see if there are suitable matches in your area before signing up and committing to paying every month, once signed up there is no getting out of their contract with you, even when there are no suitable singles on their site for you. They just recommend you change your search critea to match what they have on their books. Definatly not the best dating site available currently.
Yeah I found this out the hard way when I first looked into it. You could see matches (technically) but the profiles/pictures were bare. And everything else was locked behind paying. Also, the "refund policy" didn't apply to Canada I was told. Requested the refund after 40 minutes of use.
I'd say if you can mention Tinder in the same sentence as eHarmony, then eHarmony is not the place for you. eHarmony and all the girls on it would agree.
Don't look for the love of your life online. Better just a friendship, or companionship. Run as fast as possible of those you promise "serious relationship", or talk about trust, most of them lie!
