Your really lovely person Anna, if you ever visit northeast part of India or Rajasthan (India), I will surely take you to every place possible.. It would be great to welcome you here and show our culture and places.. Every region in India have own food, like in northeast we do eat both spicy and non spicy food, Here, you will find the Ghost pepper, so some tribal people eat that. Herbs, bamboo shoots, dumplings, rice, jackfruit curries are popular in vegetarian food, duck, pork, chicken, wild boar, bats in non veg, beef is not much found mostly coz of religious reasons.. In winters you will find more exotic vegetables like lettuce, bok choy, spinach, radish in northeast. Rest, you will find lamb and goat in Rajasthan and wide variety of pure vegetarian food. So, when you visit, you will surely love it. The way they show India in internet is not exactly the same.. India is a young country compare to big developed countries so it's growing, so the infrastructure is both old n new, we do have corruption that's a big hurdle for us. But apart from that you will love this part of the world

That's boring. You should've tried non vegetarian Indian cuisine which most Russian tourists eat when they travel to India. India has 26 states with each state having their own distinctive cuisine and not all are vegetarian. But it's ok you're vegetarian. But the vegetarian choices were boring.
