What's the weirdest thing you've ever tried at a McDonald's overseas?? 😂
Even though the thought of going to McDonald's in Italy seems insane, since you know…you could literally eat anywhere else, I thought today we would give it a try to see what weird & wonderful things they serve on the Italian menu! 😂🇮🇹 And even though those big golden arches are the same around the world, the same can’t be said of the McDonald’s menu - because no matter where you are in the world, the menu caters to the specific countries' culture, where they take the local favorites and give them some McLovin’ 🍕 This is the Florence Fast Food Tour of McDonald's!

My skin crawled!!! Cappuccino, coffee, a nutella croissant and then toast and panzerotto with tomato sauce! If I have a breakfast like this, they rush me first to gastroenterology for gastric lavage..., then to psychiatry and as I leave I'm arrested for insulting the flag and insulting the nation! sorry but we Italians are very attentive to our gastronomic traditions, to give you an example, when I go abroad I stock up on ferrero pocket coffee...🤣😂

Definitely trying McD's when I visit Italy next time! 🍔🍟 Michelle makes everything look so good, even if some of the items weren't very good. More international fast food stops please! Always fun to watch! Matteo eating the chicken wrap and taking a bite out of the mini block of parmesan cheese! 😂 Yes, that's the stuff! What a treat! 😂

Hello Micha! In Italy you have to pay 1 euro to use bathrooms at McDonald's unless you ate there. Next time check your receipt because there is a secret code you have to digit to have access :-) Enjoy your stay btw ❤

It's the "italianized "McDonald's so no problem at all to eat there every once in a while. Lots of youngsters like you in Italy eat there pretty often. 👏

McCafè in Italy is just SO good. I eat often here for breakfast.. cornetti and caffè are just quality!!! Crispy McBacon is the original italian burger from the old Burghy.. it's our secret ;)

Croissant are usually baked fresh in the morning each day, as per the sandwiches, so everything is made in place.

Never let myself eat at any of the Mickey D’s in Italy. Thought it was sacrilegious but now I’m kinda wishing that I had tried it! Definitely next time! Thanks for showing me the light! 😋

McDs in Europe are better than McDs in US, certainly because of food regulations in EU. I’ve tasted McDs in every country I’ve ever visited in my life: Brazil, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, England, US, France, Austria. The best McDonalds I’ve tasted was in Czech Republic, Prage

Although everything looked good, very different than the states. When we get homesick for American food in Italy, you must try the American Diner. It’s a diner themed after the 50’s with servers on roller skates. The burgers are good and the milk shakes are good as well. Not sure of the address but I know how to get there.

All food is better in Tuscany! And Nutella! Man, my brother and I grew up with it. It was a staple food whenever we wanted it. Still have those Nutella sandwiches!

Yeah, I'm the opposite re: the parmesan and the nutella. Then again, I kinda hate sweets, so I'm a bit worried about getting a good breakfast when I visit Italy, as everyone seems to mostly eat pastries. I would TOTALLY live on the parmesan though and love that you can just get that as a side at McDonald's as I sometimes have chunks of parm as a snack at home. Also, that gourmet burger looked awesome! 😜

I paid for a beer at the McDonalds in the Trastevere neighborhood in Rome back in 2010 when I studied there.

we used to do Nutella and peanut butter as a kid growing up in Toronto, also as a teen I worked for McDonalds and that toasted cheese and ham was something we would do in the kitchen for our breaks it was two slices of the middle pieces of bread from the Big Mac bun with cheese, ham or bacon, and put it in the Big Mac toaster. We did this years before it was a menu item and it's probably where they got the idea from. And you could order a beer at McDonalds at the SkyDome in Toronto when they were there.

I remember the weird fishy jello stuff in China. Eek! Only ate the fries there when I lived in Chongqing. I'd love to try that Italy menu though. Here in Hungary we have good choices, too. And one of the prettiest Macdonald's in the world at Nyugati train station. It's iconic. But Italy is the taste king!

My son is in Italy right now, I think I will tell him to check it out! The food makes America's. McDs look like yuck! I don't eat at McDonald's ever, but in Italy I would definitely have the croissant and expresso!

Looks interesting. But I'm super confused as to why you pronounce Nutella as New-tella. It's a "Nut" spread! Not a "Newt" spread. I'll definitely be trying the Baci McFlurry when I get to Italy, it sounds amazing. My usual here in Australia is an Oreo McFlurry with extra chocolate sauce. 🍔 Back in my travelling days, I used to try a cheeseburger in every country I visited, the tastiest one was in Turkey, and the most expensive one was in Denmark!

Hahah it's an accent thing - in North America thats how we pronounce it, but I know Brits and Aussies say it the other way. Similar to the difference in how we say tomato, for instance 😂 and yea it's fun to try these types of foods around the world, I'm always interested in what the differences will be!

I ordinarily would recommend not going to McDonalds in Europe, but when I was in Paris, I was feeling a little homesick for the US, and the golden arches provided a little comfort. Food wasn't great of course, but it met my emotional needs lol.

I was the weird kid who would eat off the floor at elementary, if I saw a cookie that fell on the floor, I would pick it up, dust it off and inhale that sucker. Now I hear there are cultures that eat on the floor with their hands and from the same plate. We are trendsetters.
