We have been looking at how much you save by buying fresh and drying and/or freezing yourself. So far, dried from Azure wins out, but we haven't tried onions yet! It's on our list, so we'll be sure to share when we figure that out.

@@AFamilyFoodStory No, I haven't had the Azure cinnamon. Over the years, I have mostly bought Frontier's and it is better than that one. When I lived in Napa, California (military family, originally from Napa) I use to pick up freshly ground spices from a small merchant there and it's better than that one as well. Honestly, I originally bought Red Ape because of the packaging!

You have probably already purchased this but we really like the La Preferida hot salsa. I also purchased Nancy’s probiotic kefir last month and have been enjoying it but I am looking forward to making my own if I can find someone willing to give or sell me some kefir grains. I just started my own yogurt this month also by using around 3 tablespoons of Nancy’s yogurt to 1/2 gallon milk and using the instant pot. This worked amazingly being my first time making yogurt. I would love to win this giveaway and so thankful that you offer these and all the great info in your videos. I really enjoy watching how your family all works together to make a successful home. ❤
@AFamilyFoodStory

We have not tried the La Preferida salsa yet. Have you tried the Sweet Creek salsa? That is the one we normally get. Great work on the yogurt! I'm determined to get back into that habit soon. 😊 Thank you so much for your encouragement. We're happy to have you here. ❤️

@@AFamilyFoodStory Hi, yes I have tried the sweet creek also. I like them both very much. You will have to give the organic La Preferida hot salsa a try I think you will want to add it to your list for a tasty alternative. I felt like it had a little more flavor than the sweet creek. Also, I am loving the idea of making my own yogurt. I really wasn’t a big yogurt eater but last year was my sickest year ever so I am trying to add more probiotics to my diet. If it weren’t for people like you sharing recipes and how to videos I probably would have never tried it. It is so easy especially with an instant pot. Now onto homemade kefir and kombucha😃❤️

Oh my goodness - those look delicious! Thanks so much for sharing. I can't say I loved it, because as a general rule, I hate cottage cheese... but I thought it was totally edible. I’m trying to think if I have seen you use this. I know it’s an easy make at home, but unjust tried a small bag of their powder dishwasher detergent last month and it works great. I was using melaleuca brand liquid before. Also I don’t think I have seen you order the rainbow candy drops (m&ms) and this mini bittersweet chocolate chips, and also PB chcocolate chips I use in a chocolate almond flour muffin I make.

I try not to buy a lot of "candy" in general... especially not in bulk. 😂 But, I have been meaning to try the PB chocolate chips - we have a 7 layer bar recipe that we could throw those in and I bet they would be delicious!
