@@lucariken2065 isn't the thing about it too is that you have to be specific because if you're too vague it will technically grant the wish in a way like "I'm missing a leg. I wish for a new leg" but since you weren't specific it could replace the leg you already have so you have to word it in such a way that it can't be misinterpreted as something else
@@razielzakary4989 Basically it grants wishes but the way it does is not good. For example let's say you wish for a million dollars. You'll get the money but a loved one might die and leave you it in their will. Or the million's from illegal means (bank robbery or drug money) so you can't spend it openly.
You see a car shaking, you walk away from there immediately, you see a traffic cone, he could be under there, better stay away, suddenly he appears in a trash can behind you and you're locked in a battle with Majima. You can not avoid him, he is everywhere!
It's just a side effect of the Majima Everywhere System, since it wasn't part of the original Yakuza 1. They just had the give him a reason to disappear for a while, so he could later come back and crash the dumb truck through the building.
As sad as I am that we only got to see Goromi once. Goromi is the best Girl of Yakuza. Her dazzling S+++ Cabaret skills is something that no one can handle
Here's a fun fact, in interviews about Kiwami Nishiki's VA said that after he finished recording the Nishiki interlude scenes he was so emotionally hurt that he didn't even want to look at the script anymore
If you love Nishiki's voice actor's acting, you should definitely play Yakuza: Like a Dragon in Japanese then. Since Nishiki and Ichiban shares the same voice actor, Kazuhiro Nakaya.
Well, considering P5S just released, that can keep her busy until the release of 6 on PC, and THEN we can finally see her react to the goodness that is Ichiban Kasuga
For me, his English voice sells the character the most. Especially the moments after the final boss. I dont think i ever heard such gut-wrenching emotion from a voice in a video game until that moment. I wasn't so sure if I should play in English, but after that im for sure a big fan.
Not only do we get Majima in this video but we get... Bartender Majima, Private Show Majima, Majima hiding in a Traffic Cone, Zombie Majima, Trash Man Majima, 24 Hour Prince Majima, & Best Girl Goromi
I feel like when Majima turned out to be the bartender I was suddenly put in a horror game, I had never jumped more at seeing Goro Majima Also how am I just realizing Majima is just a very big Kiryu fan that he even stalks him
13:49 Not only that but Nishiki lost everyone that he loved in a really short period of time and, beside Yumi, he felt responsible for It. Through Yakuza 0 we saw how important Kiryu is for him and how much he values their Bond. And he was responsible for making Kiryu suffer. When you add everything that happend with him after, It's hard to not feel sorry for him. And the japanese VA did a fantastic job making us feel sorry for Nishiki.
@@DiegoSPaulino i know, i played the game, but personally even after everything that happened to him happened to me, i would still treat kiryu with respect. I have been in a situation, where some took "the bullet" for me, and for me to treat that person with disrespect just is unimaginable for me. I understand why he did the things he did, especially his sister dying but I have no sympathy.
@@totaldan99 And I completely understand why you and others didn't fell sorry for him. It's speaks more of how well the team behind Kiwami and 0 made It possible for us to try to feel sympathetic for Nishiki.
I find it interesting that CrystAAHHHL, Woolie, and multiple Hololive girls are going through this series all at the same time. Yakuza always finds new places to pop up. Just like Majima!
She did play this early this year though, and she just finished 5 recently. And maybe that's why algorithm-kun decided to link me to the Hololive girls playing Yakuza 0 to Kiwami 2.
9:22 that's actually plausible enough because our body has an emergency adrenaline push. That's the reason why we can stay sometimes perfectly calm in a horrible Situation but cry in a more mundane situation.
Goro's are the best brand of crazy. "Goro goro" is also the sound of something rolling, so I can't help feeling that we're the ones along for the ride.
I once went to smile burger after fighting goro right outside, only for goro to be inside smile burger, we fight again then i go back in to heal after beating him twice in a row, only to come back outside to goro hiding in a cone and fighting me again. What a guy
The Yakuza series has been one of the best times I've ever had with a video game. Your exasperation with Majima is hilarious. Kiwami 1 is my favorite so far.
Pole dancing Majima made me feel... some emotion for a little bit before I remembered he used to run a cabaret club. (I'm also probably getting the wrong idea about cabaret clubs) Edit: I’m definitely getting the wrong idea about caberet clubs. I was thinking of strip clubs.
I kind of want a Kuze everywhere system mod too. Don't explain why Kuze is here to reforge Kiryu like he did in 0, and avoid the awkward "is this story Majima or wacky hijinks Majima" issue. Getting Kuze to be wacky would be hard, but you have him being blackmailed by Majima into doing it and him being super reluctant to play along. The "I'll fight you anywhere" bit translates at least, it's just the getup that would be hard.
Now you know why Yakuza-series fan was so excited about after credit in Yakuza 0 because ... well ... yep ... It's Majima Goro and his infamous 'Kiryu-Chan~' that will haunted you entire game.... Wait until you play Kiwami 2, It's Majima-intensified~
I really like your reaction when Majima came out from the sewer lol (For some reason I feel this is normal --- I played too many Japanese games, I guess)
Sometimes I wish we'd never lost Mark Hamill as the voice of Majima in US Yakuza releases... at the very least he could voice the scenes where there's no spoken dialogue and we could have a mashup of his JP seiyuu and an English Majima.
Know I’m super late to the party, but when I was 15 years old the zombie Majima segment scared the living shit outta me cuz it was one of my main fears at the time 😂
I love the relationship between Goro and Kiryu. Reminds me batman vs. joker or Wolverine vs. Cyclops. There’s just so much physical contact, they just can’t keep their hands/knuckles off their faces.
Majima getting shot in the pier was a rather lousy attempt to fix an inconsistency caused by the Majima Everywhere system: the Shangri-la story encounter. In vanilla he gets stabbed in the Batting Center and we don't hear from him again until the shangri-la fight, but in Kiwami the player was bound to have come across majima several times so they put the pier fight and subsequent fake death there to try and fix things... ...but it was super forced and took away from the original's impact. Saddly Kiwami 1 may be an ok game but it was a lousy remake, lots of ambience and beats were lost.
@@ARStudios2000 Some examples: - Quest Clear Jingle is always the same and it doesn't work for quests that end in down notes. - Original 'Funk Goes On' is generally agreed to be better than the remix. - City nightlight used to be more subdued. (combined with rain, it made for some killer somber ambiance) - Hitting enemies sounded crunchier. Extra One: no meme'd ass dub.
