I've really been loving this series lately! I see so much of myself in you lol. We must be about the same age and my clothing style is very similar to yours. I hear you on being annoyed that things don’t fit well anymore. I have been going through early menopause for the last many years and I swear that all of my weight shifts around seasonally even though I stay about the same poundage. I probably need to try on all of my shirts before it gets really hot out to make sure they fit!

I totally feel this. I had my last baby in 2020 and over the pandemic and being busy with baby raising, I gained weight. Now I feel like I have “pandemic blindness” in the sense that I can’t tell what size I am anymore when shopping. Despite trying things on and knowing my measurements, I still either buy things too small or wayyyy too big. Good luck when trying on your clothes and be easy on yourself!

Zimmermann makes a lot of A-line shaped shorts, including denim.(expensive unfortunately😢)Maybe you can snag some second-hand online or find a dipe. Denim shorts are ROUGH!!! It's so hard to find comfortable and ones with a nice shape.
