Word to the wise: Pick a dress you love, but also pick a dress you FEEL comfortable in. This is your day to feel extra special! Don't settle for something that ONLY looks fabulous. Pick a dress that feels like home and at the same time feels like a safari adventure. You need both pockets for your tissues and gemstones to accentuate your inner sparkle. I tried on so many dresses... they just weren't right... weren't right... and then the shop assistant listened to me and said, "The dress you are wearing is designed to be worn over petticoats to give it that Cindrella look, but try it without the petticoats." I remember that comment even now so many years later because once I looked at myself in the mirror I recognized ME... and not just me at my best looking but also me as a person with my own likes and dislikes ... my own flavors that my loved ones would recognize and experience with me throughout a day of celebrating both who I was and who I would become.

When I watch Say Yes to the Dress, THIS is what I want to see!!! Brides trying on gorgeous dresses, weighing pros and cons, what the dresses feel like on for weight, heat, texture against the skin, features of the dress such as pockets or inner hooks and eyes vs inner corset, etc.

@@manonrutjens8789 When a couple "elopes" it means they didn't go with having a wedding with guests and stuff but just went ahead and got married without inviting anyone to a party or anything, just went and got married. Then they call people and tell them they got married. :D Sometimes even their very own parents.

I love dresses like 2 and 6; they look great on you, especially the sparkly beading really matches your modern style. Dress 5 makes you look like a Queen which I think complements your new hair and also balances your cute face. Depends on the vibe you want to give off and the makeup and hair look and the theme of the wedding.

Dresses 6 & 8 were my personal favorites and they looked incredible on you. Number 8 (the strapless) is classic but also very eye catching because the fabric is more detailed. It’s a solid choice and you can’t go wrong with it. The lhuillier, however, made you look like a princess straight out of a fairytale. I absolutely loved how the sleeves were executed. They were the least bulky and the beading on them was absolutely perfect. I’m not a fan of long sleeved wedding dresses but this one really snuck up on me. When you sat down in the kind of “mushroom” pose it was game over, looking like a whole new Disney Cinderella remake. That dress clearly won. Try to change my mind.

#1 for the pockets, it looks beautiful and it looks like you'd be comfy #2 for the long sleeves, they suit you so much and the way it sparkles #4 for the long sleeves and your back looks stunning #5 for the intricate details, it looks like a fairytale #6 for the long sleeves and the beading, it looks like it's made for you whichever you choose, you will look amazing! Wow, such a personal thing to post. Thank you for sharing this moment with your fans as well. You looked beautiful in all of them, however, you have the perfect shape for a BERTA dress. They have a long sleeve lace one with a keyhole back. You should also try the iconic VERA WANG strapless rose dress (possibly in blush?). Though when I worked in bridal, Vera also had a long sleeve with the similar chiffon skirt. Vera also has bridesmaid dresses with the rose chiffon skirt too! Wishing you all the best.

Awww, this brings back so many memories for me! I tried on so many different dresses, even the same ones multiple times, and just couldn't decide. Then finally on my third trip back to the store, I randomly tried on another dress that wasn't even on my short list and instantly fell in love. Once you try it on and it sings to you, you'll know.

I had the same problem this year. We wanted to keep it small and secret and then one of the people who knew could‘nt keep it a secret and suddenly everyone wanted to be invited and had opinions about how we should celebrate. I really had some sleepless nights because of it. And then we made the best decision we could do and just did what WE wanted. We had our ceremony and ate lunch with parents, grandparents and siblings and then we went home and had a little apartment party with our clostest friends. It is your wedding and you should do what you both want and feel comforteable with. At the end no one hated us for doing what we liked.

@@hofnarf I married this year on april and I had an specific rule for that with my husband: Invite people who are in your life i mean people that you talk recently in this year, people that saw grow that love that you have and people that will give you good energy in this special day. They are going to say why didn't you invite me to your wedding... but you don't have to explain everything to them.

Im not gonna marry anytime soon but I thought about this and I want something small with like 50 people max that are really close to me (and him) but I know it wont happen like that bc in my culture we have big loud weddings with 1000-3000 people and a lot of dancing I like that really but not for me idk

I think my favorite was the 6th one. As you mentioned, the pink really suited your skin tone. I also loved the gemstones on it! It was so classy and pretty.
