These new starfire are awesome! So much better under trees and shades. The styling is very modern, worth every penny in my opinion. We need the RTK for straight rows
The SF RTK is an extra $1500 with the new receiver. It’s not full RTK but it’s been excellent for me over SF1. I couldn’t justify RTK but this new SF RTK fits just right.
I’m going to feel really dumb if that’s a feature on my tractor and I didn’t know it. I feel like I’ve seen that on the IVT but not on the 16 speed. It’d be nice if I was wrong though!
Ya just push the trans button go to 16 push set button and it will shift by itself depending on engine rpm think u can set shift patterns based on what rpm u want it to shift at somewhere too.
I like it in field too set ur working gear and when u throttle down for end rows it'll downshift n upshift when u throttle up again . The button on ur resume switch push back to activate on its own or will activate when u hit resume if ur autotrac n
We’ve got a 3000 rtk right now but I’m hoping to upgrade soon to a 7000. Our dealer said 4500 after trade price and everything for the new one, now just gotta talk my boss into it. 😅
I’ve never ran RTK, but I am pretty excited about the SF1 on the 7000. For the SF1, the 7000 was $4,400 and I had a trade-in offer of $1,750 (I did sell it third party though)
Thinking you can unlock SF-rtk for $1700 a year gets you 1” accurate without base station. I just purchased a 7000 wondering if the subscription is worth it or not?
I’m really excited for harvest to start so I can finally see the 7000 action. Obviously when it’s on the combine, I won’t know for sure (not until tillage starts) but from everything I’ve read, just the standard signal on the 7000 is supposed to be far better than anything on the 3000. I guess we’ll see though.
Work as a precision Rtk tech. While the sf-rtk signal is not a true rtk signal it does have sub 1 inch accuracy while without the subscription its about a 6-8ft accuracy radius
